  • Just ordered the new 2010 standard Proto! im so stoked to ride a DB skimboard. I was curious i got the random colors option instead of the regular, is there i chance that i might just get a lame design?

  • Can't wait to get my Proto flex this spring!

  • No the board comes glued already but if you take car of your board it can last up to as long as you want it to. I've got a three year old proto that still rides fine. I usually let my friends that are starting out use it to see if they like skimboarding.

  • We use screws and drill from the bottom up. The screw goes through the top plywood of the ramp and halfway into the pipe. This leaves the top of the pipe smooth and solid so it slides nice and does not cut your feet. Give bottom screwing a try or drill a pilot hole in the top of the pipe and screw down through the holed to secure the pipe.

  • @DBskimboards do you know your mother in laws name? i do shes my teacher

  • i was wondering how you all put the pvc pipe to the rail bc me and my friend tried it and drilled a whole and just hammered a nail in there. do you think that will work our to we need to do a different way???

  • nice vid, what i did not really get is what the difference between flex n standard is? can you help me =)?

  • flex board let you lock in to a rail and there a little lighter.

standard are a little bigger and heavier and carry better, they also dont flex as much so you dont lock in to a rail you can mess around on it a little.

personally i like the standard series

  • flex is much lighter and bends more, the standard is very stiff.

  • these boards ride great!
