Guys, the cat's not drowning. If it was, it would obviously be doing something to indicate it was. It's playing with the toys inside the water, and it's walking on the ground of the tub. Just because most cats don't appreciate water, doesn't mean all of them hate it. We don't like to get wet in rain either, do we? Because our hair, and clothes get wet, so we complain. Same goes for most cats, but there are a few people who love to be out in the rain, wet, as do some cats like to be wet.

This is my cat Nalla. I started throwing her toys with bells in the tub when she was just able to jump in it. After a while I started filling it up with water and watch her still play with her toys. She is 4 years old now and still loves the tub. Wow that cat is perfectly fine. Id thaught they would be unhappy with the running water. Nope its fine as anything. My cat as a one year old ended up falling into my bath water and freaked the hell out and scrambled out. Even giving light spong baths if my two cats get messy is hard. So a cat thats happily walking around in water. Just shows its fine and happy.

@DurtyRocks Actually, it doesn't have a laser pointed at its eyes, because, for one, it would then not be able to see if the laser was pointed into it's eyes, and 2, you cannot see a laser. Yes, whatever, you cannot see infrared, but you can't go about saying that, that is what he's fucking doing. Even if the cat was following a laser, if it didn't like water, they would jump straight back out. Some cats like water. Deal with it.

People who think that this cat is in distress - he isn't. He can get out at any time. While most cats dislike water (mostly the shock of being unceremoniously dumped into it) Vans like this one enjoy it greatly. Indeed, any kitten trained to enjoy water (by being gently introduced to it) will do so in the future without much hesitation.

@brainfreezes3 hun, may I just point out that there is a breed of cat called Turkish Vans who are well known for liking water. This is a Turkish van, obviously. Turkish vans usually have quite a bit of white on their head and torso and have either dark or orange spots and dark or orange colored tail. They are also long haired cats. This is a Turkish van. It likes water. If it was trying to escape, it could have jumped over the side of the tub. calm down...okay?
