If any of you have had the htc touch pro 2, and got your 6.5.3 update, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE. It uses the exact same UI. Just bigger and faster with the same windows mobile issues. Apps are mad expensive vs android apps. I didnt like my experience at all. They make a very beautiful phone with a suspect os. I actually went back to my g1. I lost over $449 on the touch pro 2, dont by the hd2, wait for an android version or go to sprint and get the Evo 4g. That phone is so beast!

I'm not an Iphone hater, but there is no doubt I'm going to choose the HTC HD2 over the Iphone. This is just a more clever and more exclusive piece of hardware. My cousin has an Iphone and she let me use it and I did like it. However, it is mostly just a toy and I just don't want something that everybody else has. You'll also see that this thing will be worth more on the second hand market than the Iphone because it's more exclusive.

I had a chance to play with this phone for about 45 minutes about a week prior to release. I went into that meeting with the attitude of "why should we even bother with this phone, its just an iphone wanna be." well I was wrong. This phone is a beast in internal specs. The picture quality is amazing, and overall the phone trumps my iphone. Now I've been an avid iphone supporter, but I walked out ready to buy one right away.

@girlsdrinkfeck The Sd card made it way too slow, Cydia (jailbroken iPhone) has hundreds of themes (WinMO has like 10???) every browser on the HD2 is terrible and choppy so having flash isn't a savior by any means, the 4G iPhone will have a removable battery and a camera flash (sorry but it will), and are you really serious about WinMo being a "real" OS???? Are you high or just stupid??? Windwows has never made anything good, and they failed again with WinMo 6.5. Peace back at ya!

I just got my HD2 also, and also trying to replace an iPhone 3G. This thing is a piece of shit! I bought this phone for the media experience (music, movies, etc.), and this is the worse part of about the phone. Loading music onto this nut sack is like pulling teeth. I put a movie on it, and it's nowhere to be found!!! There is no Pandora...WTF??? There is no iheartradio either!!! It's slow, it's not user-friendly, and it IS too big. It's going back tomorrow for sure. Thank god for the iPhone!

So most off all the iPhone users I know find the app store to be overpriced. Second, you cannot multi-task on the iPhone. Actually i have owned 2 iphones. i sold them both. just not enough there to keep me intrigued. I have a peace of crap blackberry sitting in my dresser drawer. and i had a G1 when it first came out. I had a N810, and i ordered a N900 for 600 bucks. so i wouldnt say i was too broke for any gadget. lol
