There were lead investigators that investigated the crash. There was no visible plane wreckage becasue thats what happens to planes when crashing at very high speeds. they recovered 95% of the plane. I remember the article, but your conclusion is still baseless. Yes, George Tenet denied the Commission certain information, what does this mean? With what we know now...nothing. The August 6 PDB refers to the desire to hijack a U.S. aircraft to gain the release of prisoners. Tenet expected that hijacked airliners would be landed by terrorists for negotiation over hostages and demands. Relying on this expectation, I suspect that Tenet allowed the Al Qaeda hijacking plot to go forward because he planned to make a hero out of himself by overwhelming the hijackers in a sting operation.
