  • so if Yasu is a boy does Battler marrying Beatrice make him gay since he knew the truth about beato

  • Is this the last episode?

  • @Amurzika nah theres 2 more. ep7, where bern is the gm and basically gives the answer, and the 8th vn, where they give closure to ange. all in all, ep 7 was good, ep 8 was a little too cliche and all for me. plus, i always disliked ange as a character, so her to get the closure and all that she got pissed me off. but i guess if u liked ange then you would be in love with ep8.

  • @digitalpiggy193 What was cliche about ep 8?

  • @Turksemployee basically its this ending where good triumphs evil, people power up, it becomes mildly like dbz with everyone fighting and using weirdo attacks, for some odd reason erika becomes a pirate, etc.

that and they give each character basically a "hero" moment, so its full of cliches of them getting those moments. i rlly didnt like it, esp cause i hated ange and she had the biggest cliche of them all, but w/e.

  • 7:25 PROBLEM, ERIKA?! *double trollface*

  • Erika is so badass *.*

  • Heh heh... So Erika never existed. Splendid! That is the Truth to Erika...

  • Now that i think about it.... EP5 was a BIG TRAP!

number of people in EP5 (including Erika): 18

number of people in EP6 (including Erika): 17

Both of those were stated in RED TRUTH so i guess they didn't lie.

The catch in EP5 was, that EVERYONE saw Shannon and Kanon at the same time at dinner. So they HAD TO HAVE "serperate Bodies", but in all other Episodes they "shared" a body.

  • @Meister9Neo Was it? I've checked the red truths in umineko wiki, but I couldn't find the sentence stated in red that the number of ppl in EP5 is 18.

  • @Meister9Neo woah that's news to me. Link?

  • @Turksemployee nah something was wrong with EP5 i got it all mixed up.

But in EP6 it was definitly "Even if you (Erika) join us, there are 17 people" in EP5 "The number of people is the same as in the last games", but in EP 1-4 it was only said "no more than 17 people exist" so maybe it was a wordplay that this red truth applys again.

  • @Meister9Neo EDIT: whoops, with "same number of people in last games" i ment excluding Erika. Well there are 2 facts:

EP5: The detective Erika saw Shannon & Kanon together

EP6: The logic error cannot be fixed, unless "Shkanon(trice)" applies.

So either in EP5 Erika made "some kind of mistake" and the so called "detective authority" is not as powerful as we have been led to believe, or it was a wordplay, that "the number of people were not clearly definied in EP1-4 besides >17 or lower<"

  • @Meister9Neo no the thing was it was "17 people, plus 1" and erika was supposed to be plus one. however, since it was 16 people all along, it was 16 people, plus 1 kanon, and then plus 1 erika. the logic error though can be fixed easily, saying kanon was (for sake of example) a member of the fukuin house paid to say he was shannon's younger bro or w/e, and the culprit still be the culprit :P. just an extra body lying around :P

  • @digitalpiggy193 usually yes... but if that is true, then it is impossible for Kanon to exist in the "next room over" in EP6 and also in EP1 Kanon's "death" can only be explained through illness, which sounds completly absurd because it was said in Red that everyone, EVEN THE DEAD have an alibi, that it was no suicide and that it was no accident. So Shkanontrice MUST apply to both EP1 and EP6. And because in EP1 16 people exist, it is impossible for 17+1 to exist in EP5.

  • @Meister9Neo ah i see what you're getting at. yeah, i did wonder a bit why erika cld see both kanon and shannon the 5th game....

tbh i think its just erikas slip. i mean, we never saw her DIRECTLY talk to both shannon and kanon at the same time. and in the beginning, at ep 5, shannon was behind erika, aka she couldnt have seen it, it was in battler's PoV, which was already deemed untrustworthy.

course, also hard to explain for ep5 is that letter with the ring :P

  • Ahah! I think I found a loophole in the truth that Kanon doesn't exist in the guest room. Remember when Erika asked Beato to define what a rescuer is? Erika never asked if this term applied to Kanon too. Kanon entered the Guest room and went in the closet when Erika was inspecting the bathroom. But when exactly did he leave? That was never specified. Therefore, Erika could have undone the chain lock and left the room, and then Kanon followed. Anyone wanna argue with this?

  • @Debatetime I think I have a bit of shabby reasoning, but someone had to remain inside the room in order for the closed room trick to work. If both Erika and Kanon had left relatively at the same time, there'd be no rescuer, and the closed room trick would not be satisfied. There must be someone in that room to remain as a sacrifice. I haven't really seen much, but I'll present a better argument after I rewatch it.

  • @Debatetime The Problem with that is, that the game was "suspended" while Erika was still in the room. In other words: She wouldn't leave the room for "all eternity". That means: In that Duel it was not important, what happened afterwards.

  • @Meister9Neo ...Darn.

  • @Debatetime want the spoiler if you didnt see it already?

shannon and kanon have the same body. shannon (not in the closed room) turned into kanon, ran all they way, saved battler, locked himself in the closet, then turned into shannon. so therefore kanon undid the lock and all, but shannon was the one who remained in the closed room. it was a kinda mean trick, considering multiple personaltiy disorder rlly isnt a switch that can be turned on/off... but yeah, it "works"

  • Does anyone know the name of the BGM that starts at 0:45?

  • I can't wait for this part to become an anime! ^^

  • I Understand about shannon and kanon about being the same one but what bout the first story is in it that shannon was dead on the first story Legend of the golden witch and kanon was on the same crime scene that means only 5 people are killed in there?

  • @MarkAdul09 In episode 7, Will says that the first game was risky, because it could have all been over had Battler simply entered the shed and taken a look at Shannon. This either means that Shannons corpse was a fake, or there was no corpse at all and Beatrice was simply lying. Keep in mind that anything not looked at directly by the detective (Battler) can be lied about. For example, the chain on the door in ep 1's closed room murder never existed, Genji only said it did. Battler never saw it.

  • @MarkAdul09 Well, u know, when I read all the red truths about 1st ep in 4th game, there r few suspicious things, like "All unidentified corpses r guaranteed" (n I think Shannon wasn't included, since she had half of her face). Who said that Shannon was dead? Nanjo? Hideyoshi? They're not detective n maybe accomplice of the culprit. Just a guess, though.:)

  • wait these cant be the ending i thought it was a episode 7

  • the fact that battler had 2 very much sane/insane girls after him, says alot about his warped luck, but he's basically the same way as well.

  • battler is a memetic sex god. this video proves it.

  • NOOO BATTLER KUN!!!!!>O<

  • @Dokurodeadangel No what? O.O

  • @yurasha Did Erika just kill him!?

  • @Dokurodeadangel No, the thing was like this: Battler woke up of the prison he was in thanks to Beato and Kanon. Beato defeat Erika, the girl was bad injured, and together with Beato, Battler shot to Erika, killing her at last (sorry for the bad english).

  • @yurasha Oh well I thought cuz in the motion graphic Erika pointed her gun at Battler and Beato and then it said on this island there are 17 so someone died and in the credits it said Battler died on the first twilight am I correct?

  • @Dokurodeadangel Yes, that is correct. In the first twilight everyone died or dissapeared, but they say that in the island there are only 17 because Erika didn't exist since the very beginning, and if i'm correct, Kinzo really is already dead.

  • @yurasha They're not saying that there are only 17 people because Erika doesn't exist. They're saying that even if they count Erika, there are only 17 people, because without her there are only 16 people.

    Spoilers:

Shannon and Kanon are the same person. This is why Battler never sees the two of them together, why only George OR Jessica can have love, and how Kanon was able to disappear from the closet (Shannon's personality took over the body, and thus Kanon was no longer in there).

  • @guymanpersonface But, *spoiler* Kinzo wasn't death?. Because that's what I understand.

  • @yurasha Yes, Kinzo is really dead. There are 16 people on the island: 1. Battler 2. George 3. Jessica 4. Maria 5. Rudolf 6. Kyrie 7. Eva 8. Hideyoshi 9. Krauss 10. Natsuhi 11. Rosa 12. Genji 13. Kumasawa 14. Gohda 15. Nanjo 16. Shannon/Kanon IF Battler and Beatrice include Erika, then: 17. Erika With Kinzo dead from the beginning and Shannon/Kanon being the same person, there are 16 people. 17 if they "welcome Erika to the island".
  • @guymanpersonface But they say "even if you do join us, there are 17 people". That means that Erika was the 18th person in Rokkenjima, she tell us that herself. And another thing, can you tell me in what part Beato and Battler get married? OvO.

  • @yurasha "Even if Erika does join them, there are 17 people". N that means "If Erika wasn't there, it's only 16 people". When Erika said that she was the 18th person in Rokkenjima in red, Battler said sorry, right? N then, Battler n Beato gave her the final blow, n Erika died. It just means that Erika's red truth was wrong. She can't use that red truth n that's why she can't use the gun.:)

  • @Ernestalice I'm so sorry, but I have to tell this: look, with Erika in the island there are still 17 people there, because since the beggining Erika didn't exist, and in reality Kinzo is dead, so they aren't 18 people, they are 17. Because it's supposed that Erika never exist in the firs games.

  • @Ernestalice I'm so sorry, but I have to tell this: look, with Erika in the island there are still 17 people there, because since the beggining Erika didn't exist, and in reality Kinzo is dead, so they aren't 18 people, they are 17. Because it's supposed that Erika never exist in the firs games, and that means in the original story.

  • @yurasha Well, it's just different truth. I can explain my truth n u, too, since the absolute truth is kept in the cat box :)

  • @yurasha you're almost correct, but Erika really did exist, but she doesn't count as another person because when she arrived or drifted at the island she was already dead. after all she drown from falling from her boat in the typhoon near rokenjima. that was explained in Motion Graphic 6 =P

  • @guymanpersonface

I'd like for you to explain Shanon's breasts please.

  • @Rikarikun There are 3 possible explanations for Shannon's breasts.

    1) They are fake, because Shannon is actually a guy. This is likely, because episode 7 reveals that she has gender identity issues related to an accident which is implied to have damaged her genitalia. This is also hinted at when Beato taunts Shannon about her body in ep2

    2) They are fake, because while Shannon is a girl, her actual breasts are small

    3) Shannon is really good at taping down her breasts when she dresses as Kanon

  • @guymanpersonface

    1. That was only for one episode, right?

    2. nope. still real.

    3. O.o

  • @Rikarikun I don't think a person's identity changes across episodes. As Ryukishi himself said, stories of love are over by episode 6, and episode 7 is simply an episode of harsh truth, where Will solves everything..

    <SPOILER WARNING<

In fact, it is heavily hinted that the real culrpit throughout the series was Yasu, who is at the same time Kanon, Shannon and Beatrice. Plus, even without Yasu to prove this, Shannon and Kanon were never present at the same time with the detective present as well.

  • @DarkChaosSilver I agree with everything except for the stories of love ending at episode 6. Episode 8 is the pinacle of love don't you think? Depending on how you play it anyway.

  • @Turksemployee

Could be. But I'm no tthe one who said that, Ryukishi messed up to begin with. As long as it concerns episodes 7 and 8, or at least episode 8, it looks like he just searched the internet and decided to troll the fans depending on what they were expecting. But I have to admit that I liked Battler's ending, it's not so bad as many people say. His heart just died away along with Beatrice, and he himself continued to live.

  • @DarkChaosSilver i'm still a little confused when it comes to yasu,I still got a lot of questions about yasu can you help me out -_-;

  • @XXXtachifangirlXXX

That would include major spoilers regarding the core plot of games 7 and 8, are you sure you'd like to know? (It also answers everything from games 1 to 6.)

  • wait can someone tell me when Beatrice and Battler got married / fell in love / confessed ? o___O I never knew..

  • 4:57 we could argue about the weather...?

    ITS RAINY!!!

    NO ITS SUNNY!!!

    Oh, gawd...

  • What just happened? The end did not explain about the fates of the rest of the people in Rokkenjima!

  • wow very good ending i say, and Bern is such a bitch, in a way Erika isnt dispicable in then end she just wanted glory just like what everyone wants. R.I.P Erika Furudo

  • @Hanyuuuuuuu SHE'S BAUCK YAYYYY! (I won't spoil when though :D heh)

  • @ScrewKikyo

oh dont worry im almost finished ep 8, erika is interestign im glad she returned, now its my turn in saying i wont spoil what happens in the end....*ahaha.wav*

  • @Hanyuuuuuuu personally, i <3 all the characters, even minor ones. i lubs them all ^^

  • Troll until the end... :)

    The very cryptic end...

  • Oh god, Erika...

  • Kanon died in the closet...

    therefore he no longer exist?

  • @saraseral Probably not. Spoilers below.

The common theory is that Shannon and Kanon are the same person, with split personality disorder. Kanon "disappeared" because Shannon's personality took over the body.

  • @guymanpersonface

Yasu being mentioned completely supports and squashes that theory all at the same time.

  • One hell of an ending... 3 people went to the room... so if she's not one of them then it just means that the "other person" saved kanon after he saved buttler and hid inside the closet in his place... ??

  • Comment removed

  • @fraye *MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!!!* Kanon doesn't exist in the closet because he's not Kanon. *MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!!!*
