Kalib ran from Quarry like Bisping ran from Henderson when he last fought. I give him credit for stepping there as his fights prior to that one were respectable. Quarry was a bad match up for him and he obviously wanted no part of the stand up with him
I'm not a Bisping fan, but at least when Bisping backs up he's firing counter punches. Not my favorite style of fighting, but it's at least fighting. Starnes was literally avoiding all combat during that fight.

ha yeah i've been doing MMA, muay thai, judo and kempo for about 12 years so i know what you're saying, i always get busted up more in training than in actual fights. i think they saw this guy fight in the auditions for the show and decided to take a chance on him. from what i have seen he is really good until he has an opponent that gives the least little problem, then he quits and makes excuses. whatever, glad he's gone if he's just gonna cry all the time.

He was labeled a complainer on the show. This made him REALLY upset. Ken accused Kalib of exaggerating a rib injury as an excuse to get out of a fight. Kalib was very mad bc he claims he was truly injured. So from then on, Kalib was resentful bc he feels that nothing is ever good enough. He could give his whole life and it wouldn't really matter people will still bitch. He does not like this thought. Since Shamrock bad mouthed him, Kalib became very sensitive to people questioning his heart.

I hate starnes, I could look past his horrible performance but the fact that he says he ran like a track sprinter bc his foot was broken so he could stand and exchange or all that garbage about being hurt, what fight hasn't fought hurt, and usually with 4oz gloves your going to get knocked out quickly, its not like boxing where you get ur head bashed for a long time each fight with big gloves so you stay concious but still have the impacts

Actually, yes they did. It doesn't take much. Every single hit to the head kills brain cells.
And if they're hit hard enough they get a bruise on their brain (concussion).
It's a trade off - if you fight you get status and respect but the hits will fuck up your brain.

That's an interesting point but I don't think that's the case.
A concussion is a bruise to the brain.
You can hit yourself on a part of your body (like your arm or something) and you won't necessarily get a bruise.
You'll probably kill off a few skin cells but the hits have to be harder or more repetitive to leave a bruise.
