Both were stock bikes 0 miles and the zx 12 r is always faster with a decent road ahead. Thats pre 186 mph manufacturers limit in yr 2000 tho.

A few mods on the Bird will make you think twice before you talk smack. I have an 02 with a full exhaust and power commander and have outrun a couple of 14's and Busa's out there in the twistys and the drag strip. They are still faster on top end tho
