Conceptual art has a catch 22 to it. It can't be evaluated. Thats' why the conceptual art vide called snake oil that opposes what conceptual art is, is so important.
crumbs I think there's room for all of us in the world to have our own experiences isn't there without it needing to belittle the experiences of others. i think its wonderful, puts a smile on my face every time I watch it. i think its rather profound in a modest understated way. but if that's not the experience of others then fair enough.

It IS hilarious, brilliant and touching. The simplicity of the statement , the cleanness of the execution (which must have taken a lot of work and thought yet doesn't scream of this) and the fact you can enjoy it on so many levels makes it a wonderful piece. Plus it manages to use humour without the humour diminishing it's impact.
O dear SpotlightNewMedia, who said people of high intelligence coupled with creativity cannot have a sense of humour? From my perspective, talent reaches a target no none else can hit whereas genius hits a target no one else can see. I'm sorry if you take umbrage my comment was personal and came from the heart it wasn't to be taken personally with reference to any artwork that isn't conceptual.
@Apricotsocks I'm afraid this is neither hilarious, brilliant, nor touching. Whether it is "real" or not depends on one's definition of reality but I'm willing to concede that it does exist. The fact that you have ascribed those other adjectives to such a wretchedly pretentious piece of pseudo-wank tells me that you are of extremely limited intelligence and even more limited aesthetic judgement. Please don't foist either on the rest of us. You demean yourself, us, and art itself by doing so.
