  • I'd love to find a Saturn keyboard, I'm slowly building up my collection.

  • Im joking of course, but i give thumbs up for this video.

  • Today we will be taking a closer look at lint.

  • Is it possible to connect Saturn to Saturn in the same room using the Netlink? (LAN Style)

  • Nope, only if you've got two phone lines in the same room. There is a link cable for the Saturn though. I don't know what games support it though.

  • I think Doom supported the link cable...

  • Dude, Jerry, that bed is terryifying! Anyways, I have the Saturn big + small controllers, 3d controller, flight stick, steering wheel, mouse, netlink modem, multi tap, and was now working on the keyboard, which is on Ebay, brand new, $20 delivered! Check it out, don't think you'll get the mouse for $5 though. Does the keyboard adapt come w/ the netlink modem? mine's sealed. Cheapest adapt I saw was $45, don't wanna spend more on that than the actual keyboard. LMK

  • I just got a Saturn mouse for $4.99 on Amazon, brand new in the shrink wrap. :D There's a few more there for the price. I've got all that except the flight stick but do have an arcade stick.

for $20 shipped I got the Netlink pack which comes with the modem, two netlink games and the keyboard adapter in the box. I kept the Keyboard adapter and one of the games and the rest of it went to Atarix777...we split the cost on the auction since I was keeping about half the stuff.

  • I cant wait for my Saturn +Netlink to arrive. weeeeeeeeeeeh IM SO EXCITED

  • Lol and I'm excited for you! Netlink is really awesome! I love playing Bomberman and Duke Nukem online.

  • you bed looks like the moon landing ...

  • jerry - the official ambassador of the Netlink :D

i'm very glad you are giving more exposure to this wonderful accessory. let's hope more people join in on the fun. keep up the good work on your videos :)

  • Hey thanks a lot dude!

Well I'm just glad more people are learning about the Netlink and that it still works. And I've almost gotten 50 subs in like 3 days! I'm really excited about that.

  • Does it support broadband ?

  • Does it have an ethernet cable port?

  • Nope it sure doesn't. The Netlink came in out 1997 so it was probably in development for a while before that. Ethernet wasn't really available to consumers until 2000ish give or take. But it's cool as long as you have a regular phone line. It directly dials the second players Saturn so there's no need for the internet or anything. And it'll always work as long as regular phone lines still exist.

  • So, It wint interfere with my phone?

(Talk on the phone and play it?)

  • It will use your phone line. The Saturn's modem is a dial up modem, meaning it will make a telephone call on your regular analog phone line to the other players Netlink modem. If you pick up your phone while the call is in progress it'll make that horrible modem screeching sound.

  • It isn't surprising that more people seem to like older systems than they do modern ones. The quality in older games and systems are much greater. Hell, even the multiplayer games are more fun, more fun than Smash Bros. Brawl. Iyts only popular at this level becasue of the hype it built up Melee is better. I still play Saturn Bomberman and World Series Baseball with my brother from time to time and... well, I constantly ask myself; where did the quality go? I plan on getting a Saturn Netlink.

  • Can't wait till you get the Netlink dude!
