I used to work at Aveling Barford --just about where the Aldi store is now ----Can you imagine on a hot summer day with windows wide open and Deltics going past at full throttle . The sound is still phenomenal .
I,ll be the first to comment then! What more can you ask for? A Deltic,Napier engines going full tilt,90mph+ chucking up snow spray and disappearing in a cloud of mist,wonderful stuff,superb!
