low budget = no special effects, costumes, and whatever sets happen to immediately attach to the outside of the studio.

Same reason that crappy thing with Kirk & Spock went to Roman world, Nazi World & Klingons, back then, were just white guys with green face paint on in other words.

cool i;ve never seen any of these episodes. i saw a few of the episodes with number four on BBC Anerica several years ago and the episodes that have been shown on SciFi Channel.
