I think the CE content is really weak, didn't appeal to me at all, useless cards, music i'll be tired of listening to once I've played through the game, sure the seal looks kinda nice but I bet it's not real paper or wax, and a book of some drawings. No I won't pay twice the price of just the game for that.
I don't get why the Collector's Edition isn't including the pre-order bonuses that the normal copies are getting. I can't justify paying twice or three times the amount of a normal copy while getting LESS in game content. In the UK for example we can order the normal copy from GAME and get all 4 exclusive skins for free, but the CE does not.
If the CE included everything the normal copies received I would definitely of bought this, as it stands, I think normal version is more value for money.

hmmmm, i love the box. I hate that collectors editions nowadays are all the same, books, music and cards. People should take a leaf out of fallout 3 or gears 2 collectors editions. Those were unique, fucking lunchbox and gold lancer for the fucking win!
i do think its a bit of a shame that the set doesnt come with a 'making of..' i always like to have those in my collectors editions but the care thats gone into the packaging is far above Dawn of War 2: Retribution i think i will have to get it

@tantorecords Funny thing is, even if you're the type of person that for whatever reason dislike the precision of a mouse and keyboard, there are plenty of games that support the use of Xbox 360 controllers. Are you also unaware that a PC can also be used as a home theater system just like a console? Having a gaming PC just gives you way more options then a console and is much more practical, all it takes is a bit of basic computer knowledge.
@TheKlungo I think one of the main things is I use a mouse and computer all day long at work, so consoles are more comfortable when I want to game. yes i was aware a computer can be used as a home cinema system haha because I have two 27" 3.1ghz imac's linked together (im a designer). Playing games on them just doesn't feel right to me for some reason. Apart from age of empires of course. Other thing is hackers and glitchers, I fing hate them and 80% of them use pc.

hm.. a boxed PC copy i remember buying those back in the day.. steam / digital distrubution is the way to go now :P but then again it's collector's edition :P

Thats some serious overpriced shit!
In 90's games this would be definately the standard edition
Also i wonder if relic actually knows what a collectors edition means and if they saw the brilliant example of the WITCHER collectors. The witcher standar edition which i bought it for 30 euros had way more stuff in it than this "collectors" crap!!! A magnetic purity seal, an OST and some crap cards and you call this collectors?! damn you should be ashamed!! again go check WITCHER's collectors!

@WTFigotepic Lol you're all such angry geeks and you all think you're pc's are amazing. Point is its your choice, and my choice is the 360 because I find playing on a console more immersive and comfortable, no faffing around with a keyboard and crappy screen.

@tantorecords You're calling us angry geeks when you're clearly the one raging over some stupid little comment? We did the smart thing by investing our money into a machine that is not only more practical for real world use(school, work, ect.)but also outperforms any console by a mile. Consoles can't play games with crazy fast frame rate or 1080p resolution or high fidelity graphics.

@tantorecords Funny thing is, even if you're the type of person that for whatever reason dislike the precision of a mouse and keyboard, there are plenty of games that support the use of Xbox 360 controllers. Are you also unaware that a PC can also be used as a home theater system just like a console? Having a gaming PC just gives you way more options then a console and is much more practical, all it takes is a bit of basic computer knowledge.

@TheKlungo I think one of the main things is I use a mouse and computer all day long at work, so consoles are more comfortable when I want to game. yes i was aware a computer can be used as a home cinema system haha because I have two 27" 3.1ghz imac's linked together (im a designer). Playing games on them just doesn't feel right to me for some reason. Apart from age of empires of course. Other thing is hackers and glitchers, I fing hate them and 80% of them use pc.
