@undeadgamer95 The song at the beggining is in the japanese version of the game, the english version has an instrumental version.

Are you planning on getting Tales of the Abyss 3DS? If so are you gonna do a review on it or a comparison video between the two versions of the game?

@lolpanther123 I haven't watched the anime, so I can't say, however, I can say that since the anime is based on the game, the game is the more canon, and more complete story

@lolpanther123 Lol, yeah, all the Tales anime are based on their respective games, the Tales series has been around since the Super Nintendo.

Yes I've beate .Hack//G.U. I plan on doing a video on that aswell one of these days.

Does this game have some decision making that changes the game?

@lameshit I am assuming you mean decisions that alters the game story, in which case no it doesn't.All the decisions you make only affect the gameplay.

In your opinion which is better this or tales of vesperia i just beat vesperia and i love that game SO MUCH it was the first tales game i played and am trying to find somthing that will compete with it

@ilikecake124 I don't have a 360, I never played Vesperia, but I can tell you that Abyss is my favorite Tales game, and I've beaten my fair share in the series.

@peddle1993 I would reccomend playinng Abyss any way you can. Vesperia is only on 360 atm, but they might localize the PS3 version which hasn't been translated yet.

thanks for reviewing this. I fell in love with symphonia the moment I played it and I enjoyed vesperia, but I wanted to go back and see what this one was all about b/c it has so much hype among tales fans. I went to gamestop today b/c their website shold an old gamecube in stock I was looking for and a customer mentioned a rare game which struck a chord I went over to the ps2 games and found this beauty in pretty flawless condition having been used. I can't wait to go try this out tonight.

I don't blame MrAradon for not remembering Legendia very well; it wasn't that great. It was okay for the most part. Really, the most memorable part of Legendia, in my opinion, was fact that this Tales game had half of the party as casters, and most of the characters had more bizarre weapons (i.e. a bubble wand, a jug, a feather pen).

@WhiteGirlsAsianPLZ Thanks man! Yeah Legendia is cheap, but I say go ahead and get it because while its not the best in the Tales series, its pretty solid.

@warkwarkchoco Thanks! Yes I am, I love Atlus, and Catherine looks really unique, well most Atlus games are, but this looks different even for them, I am hoping it's a good intro to the current generation for Atlus.

Sadly this game was not released in Europe like most Tales of games. I recently beat Vesperia and think it is the best RPG on the 360 or PS3. I have to check these older Tales of games out. But I will aim for Symphonia first. Impossible to find though....

The art sort of reminds me of eternal sonata. Just because of how smooth the shading it. The battle system also reminds me of Eternal Sonata.

Well, I actually own this game, I love Symphonia, so I should definetely play this. It's worth noting that since the 3DS ToA port was announced (although not neccesarily for the US), I've seen quite a few copies at GameStop for about $20.
