  • I tried going for the two at a tournament. Didn't get enough angle at the 4, ended up leaving the 6.

  • I had it once and I wasn't so lucky...left the 4-pin

  • Picked that up about 3 hours ago...Second game, 6th frame. Still shot 227

  • i bowled one today! im pissed i didnt have it on camera :(

  • Nice shot !!!

  • i made that before, but i actually got the 6 pin to shoot and hit the 4 pin

  • Posted on my b day

  • I've only left this twice ever. The first I was screwing around lofting the gutter with two hands and the other was just an extremely slow shot (~10mph). First time I hit the 6 at too little of an angle, the second... well, I threw a gutterball the first throw, so I can't tell you I converted it...

  • Very nice. I left this during a state tournament last year and someone practically said I was screwed, and I picked up everything but the 4. I almost yelled at how close I was to actually picking it up.

  • The 4-6-7-9-10 is known as the greek church in bowling term. I have fail the complete it fully 2 times.

  • i did it by trying by using my virtual gravity .. threw it really straight to the 6-10 like you do when you try to pick -up a 6-7-10 .. the 6 pin went to the middle of the 4-7 and the 10 pin bounced to hit the 8 pin ... i tried it to pick up a 4-6-7-10 and got it as well .. it was a somewhat lucky- unlucky day for me that day haha since i always get splits on that lane.. but luckily i somehow barely convert them haha ..

  • i left the greek church minus the 10 yesterday (4-6-7-9). i was on a spare, so i went for it. threw at the 4-7. looked good and thought i might have a chance. i hit the 4 so thin it went in front of the 9 but hit it just thick enough to go behind the 6. i went from almost having it to throwing the 4 between the 6-9. i was like....did that really happen?

  • That's the best lane sweep ad to have after picking that up! Nice cover!

  • one time, i failed to convert a greek church. T__T

  • no top comments?? its my time to shine... VAGINA

  • @jigilypuffl i know. this is what heppens when i get bored on youtube. lol

  • @unknownperson96 lol same

  • amazing

  • Nice shot!

  • nice pick! everyone has there preference on how to pick this but if i needed to pick it.. i'd go for the 4-7 and slide it into the 6-9-10. reason being is cus i feel if you slide the 4 pin over there's a good chance you'll take the 9 and the 10 out but also it's double the chance that one of those pins will fall forward and hit the 6. i don't know. i feel it's pickable either way.

  • miller time!

  • @jonnagilda LOL

  • The hardest splits are the double wood spits. The 2-8-10 for a right hander and the 3-7-9 for the left hander. Both are down right impossible unless you can throw a really good sharp backup ball.

  • @Astromchaser i beg to differ. the 2-8-10 i have converted 5 times. 7-10 twice. the key to the 2-8-10 (besides being 95% lucky) is to smash the 2 pin way off to the left hand side over into the right side wall have it bounce off the side wall hit the 10 which will then impact into the 8 pin. its actually not that hard. in my opinion, the big four is the hardest split in bowling.

  • @madman102792 Are you kidding me? I have converted the big 4 once. You have to shoot at it as you shoot the 4-7-10 or the 6-7-10.By getting the pin between the other 2 you have a chance making this. The hardest split in bowling? The 4-6! Why? It's not like the other 2 cincinatties to bounce one of them or to nit one of them;I nit once the 8-10 and got it,and I've nit at least 3 times the 4 into the 6.The result-shaking 6.I've never converted the 2-8-10,the greek church,4-6-7 or the 4-6-10 as well.

  • I once nailed a 1-43-17 split

  • I once picked this up in a similar manner. It was one of the best moments I can remember bowling even though I don't think anyone noticed it and I didn't have a camera. :(

  • So what's wrong with that reaction? I'd be happy, too...especially if I made it like that, going for the three. I was always told that if you pick up the greek church, you have to go for the two...and I did pick it up in that manner once.

  • @generalbullmoose Ehh, it's just old. I go for the three, but usually I'll leave the 4 pin by doing that. I never tried going for the pins on the left, before. I made this split again a few weeks ago, though. I'm much better of a bowler now. And I've gotten the 7-10 split three times. (twice on camera, too!)

  • @generalbullmoose I've made it twice, by shooting the three on the right (pure dumb luck both times). I have seen others make it, too, over the years. I've never, not even once, seen anyone make it by going for the 4-7. Personally, I think your odds are better when you go for the three, because if you hit it just right, the 6 will flatten off the 9 and get the 4-7, whereas shooting the two on the left, you have to rely on the 4 doing all kinds of bouncing around to get the 6-9-10.

  • @generalbullmoose It may be cool to go for the three when in practice, but I'm sure all bowlers agree you go for pin count!

  • According to the bumper on the machine, its Miller Time!

  • @Motorcyclephil called sweeper but k

  • @Motorcyclephil Its called a sweeper.

  • I had a combination similar to this the last time I bowled and of courrrse didn't pick them up...

  • i have at once a 4-6-7-10 pickup and i am now 10

  • @westel100 hey nice man! you think ya can get the 7-10?

  • @BowlingMania14 no to hard

  • @westel100 they are difficult but i made the 7-10 3 times

  • @BowlingMania14 the 4-6-7-10 was just lucky

  • @westel100 that's what people say. more luck than skill, because people don't know when you're gonna make a split like that.

  • @BowlingMania14 Hrmm? You seem to have a very low ball speed for the 7-10, but I guess if you bowl enough, anything can happen...

  • @CaseyKay89 thats like a 23mph ball speed... thats pretty fast haha.

  • i have up that up 7 time .

  • is it brunswick sidewinder???

  • @LLDJ1 Yeah it is. I wasnt a good bowler back then so it was 11lbs.

  • I picked it up once. It was in the 10th frame of game 3, and since it really didn't matter so much to me, I picked up the ball and heaved it in the general direction of the rack. It took out the 4-7, so light on the 4 it tipped over and took out the 8-9-10. Nice pickup, but certaily nothing to brag about for me. Nice shot.

  • @rkevo55 NICE! I've made the 4-7-10 split by doing that LOL (it was an accidental pickup). I've made this one 2 times already. Not too hard, but not too easy.

  • to my surprise, i made it a few weeks ago. i went right through the the center of the 6-9-10 and the 9 swung around into the 4 and 7

  • Ive left this many times in my life but have only managed to get 4 pins. Im lefty so I have gotten 4-6-7-8-10 but only kicked out 4-7-8-10. never got that luckt bounce off the wall like you did there :D nice shot

  • @3amrepmike3 thanks! and what's it like being left-handed?? lol i don't know why I ask...

  • @BowlingMania14 lol exactly opposite of you :D i dont know how else to explain it lol

  • hahaha i left the same thing and through it right through the middle :P

  • @Brutekiller147 i've done that WAY too many timesss.....

  • @BowlingMania14 haha ive only been bowling for like a year and unfortunately the only big split conversion ive ever gotten was the one i got on vid where ur brother called me a noob

  • I thought this split is hard to make. If you leave the "greek church" split, the best we can do is just go for the three pins on the right or left side and the other two pins will leave standing. This is a very hard split to make.

  • @srf1969 Yes. I just got a little lucky. They are hard splits to pick up, but some people make it look easy. I would think that the weight of the ball would affect the pin action, by altering the hit from the 4 into the 8 or the 6 into the 9. Deflection in needed to make the split.

  • I left this split last night in the 4th frame of my second game last night. We were getting killed my team was struggling and needed something to get us going. My heart sunk when I left this and I thought well this is just the way it is going to go tonight until it happened I picked it up! And it looked the same as this pick NICE JOB on this spare =)

  • @dbull78 Thanks for the comment! I hope your team came close to winning, and good job on your pickup! (a little luck isn't bad every now and then)

  • I picked it up last week.. lol nice one

  • i guess its one of those things you just dont expect when you go bowling.. lol

  • Yeah haha. I do..but I never get drunk. I'm lucky to be able to just drink one beer and not have an urge for another unlike a lot of people.

  • sorry, machimanta was my brothers account, didnt realize... but i know, i wont drink when i'm old... that is a nice bowling alley, too. different sweeps on other lanes say different things.

  • it really is. Nice to see something besides Brunswick or AMF on there.

  • yeah, i wouldnt like seeing all 12 lanes with generic stickers on the sweeps.

  • I had to laugh at the sweeper. If I left that split, it'd definitely be Miller time for me hahaha. Good pick up.

  • Holy Crap! Nice one!

  • you buried that split

  • thanks, i have left it once before this, not making it, but only the 6-7-10 off of it. i was actually walking away, half looking when it struck
