How to downgrade without shsh blobs (Bluefreeze v2.3)

why you dumped ur shsh blob two times ? you could have copied it a different location, by the way it seems that everybody happing the same 1604 error while restoring to 3.ipsw so next time you want to make a real downgrade video please show us the acual restore/downgrade on you own devive.thanks.

@hotmazin You are right, people just can't follow it, so I dumped twice. The error is caused by a bad ipsw, just go with 2.ipsw

me too cuz i spent 100$ on an apple peel that don`t work without 4.3.3 and for 5.01 I have some cheap ass beta software and no gprs ,it rly sucks and I`m just sick of waiting for those lame ass chinese guys to come with any good release for 5.0.1............

@dumitrescuiulian same story man, my mistake is that i didn't jailbreak it when it was on 4.3.3 i upgraded it to 5.0.1 then jailbroke it and now I am stuck on 5.0.1 without any SHSH Blob for any older version.

I was hoping this BlueFreeze thingy will work, I feel I want to cry.

So I followed this step-by-step for my iPod Touch 4g on 5.0.1.

I used iReb r5 to put it in DFU.

Every time I try to restore to the custom ipsw, the iPod hangs on the Apple logo, and I get a 1604 error. I really want to get this to work because I'd rather be on IOS 4. Do you have any tips? Help is really appreciated. Thanks!

I'm going to try this later, but just out of curiosity, if you downgraded to say 4.2.1 from 5.0.1 like you did, would you be able to save your shsh blobs from 4.2.1? Or would it not work like that?

I also tryed with iReb almost every time exept the first time when building with bluefreeze and that was for 4.2.1 on what I can remember. I also tryed 2 times to restore in iTunes on a freshly restored 4g snowbreeze 5.0.1 and again failed 1604 (boot log lopp before error).

Hi I tryed to make the 3-rd image from fake 5.0 and before from 4.2.1 but no success at all on restoring via iTunes, it always hit me with that 1604 error and my Ipod touch 4g always and up in boot logo loop. I want to mention that I even tryed to download the ipsw-s in iFaith and the restore gave me the same loop. Ffs do I really need to put all this shit in my desktop cuz I don`t have enough space :D
