One year later and we still miss and love you just as much. I know your are here with us. I know you would tell us "do not stand at my grave and cry....... for I am not here.... I did not die" we miss you Theodore . I hope your wearing black cowboy boots to a wedding up there. T.S.
Ted Allen trained me 24 years ago. I worked house shows and then jobbed for NWA and WCW for nine years after that. Ted was a wonderful guy and will be sorely missed. I was blessed to see him and hug him last Saturday at a show he did in Ellijay, my hometown. We talked about me coming back and working together because my son wanted to see me wrestle. I hate that day will never come. He is a legend of the sport. My prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in Peace my friend. Dave D.
I remember when Ted Allen started out as a jobber in the old Georgia Championship Wrestling. back in the '70s long before he wrestled under a mask and became one of many wrestlers as The Nightmare.
it is a sad day in wrestling ted was a great wrestling i has a change to watch him wrestling 2 time and i meet one time too nice guy rip nightmare ted allen
I am so genuinely saddened by Ted's passing. I had the privilege of taping a handful of his matches, and no matter who else was on the card, you could always rely on Ted to have the best match on the show. He also was one of those guys that genuinely wanted to give back to his chosen profession. I less selfish man you'd never find. You will be missed Ted...
I met Mr. Allen at the NWA Legends Fanfest this year, and while I met some who were bigger "stars," I don't think I met any who were easier to talk to or more down to earth. It was as easy as talking to someone I had known for years. RIP Mr. Allen, and God bless your friends and family.
Rest in Peace my Friend. You were a Great man to wrestle and a Wonderful trainer. You are now with the Lord, and one day, We will meet again. You will be Greatly Missed. GOD BLESS TED ALLEN. GOD BLESS A WONDERFUL FRIEND.
Ted was a great man and a great friend. Iv'e known him for about 10 years. I will miss him dearly. Love you Ted It's your turn to tag out and take a seat in heaven.
Ted is so awesome,The stories i could tell in being around him,Even though i wasn't trained by him his fingerprints are all over "my career" I did find a vhs tape i have recently of him working a very young Bret Hart in Georgia
Super cool video. Nightmare Ted Allen is one of the nicest guys I have ever met in wrestling. A great hand in the ring and a man that still works as hard today as he did 20 years ago. Class act.
Who is the music by and what is the name the song?
I had the honor watching "The Wrestler" in action when he was at GCW in Columbus, Georgia from 2004-2006. Before my sight went to poot in 2005, I drew an illustration of the Wrestler and presented it to him. When he entered the ring, he ALWAYS acknowledged me at ringside and EVERYONE knew Ted Allen was my favorite.
Recently...wrestling returned to Columbus under the IWN banner. The Wrestler was in the first match. After the match. He came and shook my hand.
Great Video for a very deserving person! Not only a great wrestler, but also a great human being! Here's wishing you many more successful years in the entertainment business!
THANK YOU -- THANK YOU --- THANK YOU!!!! Finally! It's about time Mr. Allen gets recognition in the business. A true professional and all-round great guy! 30+ years in the business and still going strong! Again thank you for posting this compilation.
