what happened black people??? there are still great black organ players out there, and great black instrumentalists of all sorts. but the music industry and the idiots who blindly follow it aren't promoting that kind of music anymore. blame the record labels, clear channel, mtv, etc.....and then blame all those mainstream music lovers out there....and then you still probably have three or four levels after that before you can consider blaming black people for the lack of grooves like these.
Black Joe Louis is the closest thing to this kind stuff being made today, I come from a much more punk rock motivated influences but this is so cool it was just a comment, stop thinking your the one to teach anyone about music and how times change.

Tastes change, "New generation", "Not you parents music", etc. But there are people (including young people of African ancestry) who listen to this type of music today, too.
