you can also use Internet explorer with a program called Internet Download Manager, it works for all web sites, explorer, firefox, google chrome, safari.

What is the point of getting the FLV player?

It seems you need to download the flv file, then use the aoa extractor...where does the player come in?

Also does the extractor have a way of just leaving the bitrate and sample rate wherever it was in the initial FLV file, so you aren't doing yet another lossy conversion on the file?

@0VvPkvVO if you don't want to use mozilla, you can use a program not associated with a web browser, called Any Video Converter. It's free (google it, should be first option) and it allows you to DL the .flv files he downloaded with the mozilla DL helper. I actually prefer AVC because it converts the .flv files into something I can put on my media player. Either way, you can find tutorials for using it on youtube as well.

---when i click on the download helper on firefox it just shows one item on the drop down box that always says....video.flv

When I download it it then doesnt come up as an FLV file ....If i open it in the flv player it works fine. But I cant extract the audio because it says its an unkown file type. :S
