Pauline Pearce is my heroine! I wish there were more like her - women I can be proud of for their bravery in the face of a riotous mob. There's a woman who, were she canonized, would make some sense. The role models of women and girls are not strong; female saints are even wimpier than their male counterparts - if that's possible....
I should expect the Queen to be honouring Lady P this year. If her Queen and country don't give her no recognition, then this country is off it's tits and she aint 'really' getting any respect! Celebrities get MBE's etc but I dont see them tacklin rioters!
