Luckily, having some kind of education in a real country, I am fully aware of where Poland is in our world, and some of the historical significance it holds. At my current office, I even have a couple of Polish friends :)
Me too, personally. However, the original does have a certain RAW feel to it, like before they become X-Japan.
Recently, I've found I'm listening to a lot of their really old stuff. Songs like Feel Me Tonight and Time Trip Loving are bloody incredible. Check 'em out!
Lol, all these rumours are fake, also ofcourse SGZ can play this, he's a great guitarist.
The simple reason to why they dony play old songs is because thrash/speed metal is not popular anymore and they want large audience in America, playing thrash/speed songs won't give them that....
For the record, I don't base this off rumours, I'm not a fanboy, I appreciate the music. I actually love Luna Sea so I'm quite aware how skilled Sugizo is. I acknowledge your point, however, and understand even why X are going in the direction they are. I just think their new stuff is boring and bland compared with this video. I've never truly loved Yoshiki or hide's solo work, it's the combination of their personalities which made stuff like this unique and special. Peace :)
yeah! we are X!! Yoshiki is a influence for me too, i hope you be a great guitarist like hide or pata, sugizo mmm, sugizo not is an important member of X, hide live in his songs, like Sadistic Desire,Scars etc. we are X fans jeje GREAT!
The sound of the drums, the skills & strenght of Yoshiki is one of the best things of X, for me Yoshiki is the best drummer of Japan and one of the best composers, well i think this: X is better than all japanese bands.
You've summed up pretty much all of my thoughts too.
Yoshiki is a huge influence on me, he's the reason I picked up guitar in the first place, and has been one of my major inflences in terms of writing style.
If you like this you'll all love the New York Dolls-you, the future of our society, should check them out. The grandaddys of the Visual Kei movement. Also the 1970-1974 Stooges. Iggy was wearing dresses on stage before these guys were born. You should really like them too.
I believe that music is sonical art rather than visual art, however. So whether the artist wear tails and a wig, like Beethoven, or a skimpy bikini like Lady Gaga, I could not care less :)
Still, everyone finds appeal in different stuff.
If you like men in women's clothing, as my senior and fellow human, I shan't judge you.
May I also recommend their bootleg stuff too? They're not that common but they had some insanely good material they never officially released - like Feel Me Tonight or Danger Zone.
What did you expect? Vanishing Vision was their first studio album, of course there's going to be improvement when they go back to record after their first time.
Probably my favourite X song. I prefer it to Sadistic Emotion by Hide's first band... though it's very interesting hearing that one to see where desire came from...
Incidentally, I'VE GOT ECSTACY BUT I FEEL THE TEARS FALLING DOWN!

Hi there. It was released on a single, but not specifically a 'Sadistic Desire' one.
It was released as the B-side of the Silent Jealousy single in 1991.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Anyway, enjoy this song and keep on rockin'! :)

pskptbrk1 2 years ago
youu got a nice setup buddy.
I'm not sure how to get it but i know a bit of the kit that hide and pata used.
Pata always ses Les Paul and Marshall (probabyl JCM 800)
Hide uses his signature fernandez mocking bird, and was known to use at least an ibanez tube screamer. He probably also sed Marshall amps.
However, they say that hide used les paul for recording. good luck - keep on playing!

Nice upload. 5 stars.
But as for the 'bell hit of the original', that isn't a bell hit. It's hitting the middle of the ride cymbal. Rofl.
mrgrazzt 2 years ago
Thanks for enjoying the song and thanks for your rating!
'Bell' is the technical term for that part of the cymbal which you described! :)
Hence, when a drummer hits that bit, it can be called a 'bell hit'. Of course, it doesn't refer to an actual bell!
