I think that it is about preventing your self-destruction; about keeping your confidence and starting to make the right decisions for once. About facing your problems, instead of running and hiding from them; about aborting your "slow motion suicide". Because life is a "twister that will destroy you", especially when you've wasted a lot of shots in it. I fucking love this song.
