2 reasons I like BFC2 over BF3.

1. Fully destructible buildings.

2. The colors. In BF3 everything is greyish. I know that war isn't supposed to be all pretty, but BC2 just looks so much more appealing to the eye color-wise.

Just as EpicRandomDude says, Batlefield 3 is full of kids and COD-noobs. I'm guessing it's because of DICE's new strategy trying to get all the COD-players playing Battlefield instead. For DICE, it's a good strategy, but for the Battlefield fans, it's not. When the COD-players start to play Battlefield 3, the Battlefield fans leave. So, either, DICE, you cannot have COD-fags and Battlefield-men in the same game. Decide what audience you're selling to. That's all my opinions. Please, don't hate.

I can honestly say prior to release I thought a game with a lager variety of wepons and gadgets would make the game better but now I dont think it does. I hope they keep the skill and humor in BC3. @snemul I will gladly defend on that. When is the only time epic moments happen in BF3? Once every couple matches. The BF3 maps are so linear in terms of Rush, and it makes the games always on-sided. Sure jets are cool, but I'd rather be tagging blackhawks with my tracer and watch my team launch 2 rockets at it. 'Crashing' shouldn't make a game epis. BC2 also had a higher level of destruction, balanced vehicles, and no prone. Prone is what broke BF3, cause they didn't program it right.

Also the netcode in BC2 was horrible, and although it still is kinda bad it's a lot better in bf3. And in what way is prone bad? I love prone, I think it's an excellent feature.

@snemul Prone is bad because DICE didn't program it properly into the game. You compare prone from CoD to BF3 and you see how big the difference is. In BF3 you go can prone away and be halfway inside a wall camping in a corner where noone can see you. In CoD you have to be a certain distance away and can only turn a certain amount. So prone in BF3 adds an easier camping device for people to use quite easily.

@snemul They deliberately made it attractive for people who play COD. They didnt try to hide it and said it many times in the media. For example the beta map was a very straight forward, close quarters, small in surface area for BF, as good as no destruction, no vehicles map. Sounds more COD to me? More bulletdamage, more fast paced gameplay than previous BF releases. In many maps your are constantly being tunnelled in streets, with way less destruction, in very straight forward maps.

But I agree, if you compare BF3 to BF2 there's a definate decrease in quality but if you compare it to BC2 (which really is a console series), BF3 is a lot better in my opinion.
