  • I Love It!

  • Did he get a arrow in the knee?

  • Doris turned me on to this,, Oxford, MS

  • Very touching. I wish people would not turn such an amazing thing into an argument. Just be happy you can witness such an amazing story..

  • funny man

  • @hamstergirl591 How in the hell do you think us "Humans" are animals. I don't know about you....well, yeah i do. You did call yourself an animal. WOW. I am a HUMAN, not a DAMN ANIMAL. And when you can prove this theory, though, opinion, whatever you would like to call it, , I want to hear how you came up with this accusation.....which from your comment, probably isn't going to be very intellectual!!!!!

  • I had to choke back some tears when I watched this... and then I had to watch it again.

  • Hey guys , my name is Lane Farr and I am Director of Operations @ ProsthetiCare , Fort Worth , Texas. We donated the prosthesis and fabricated the prosthesis. No one spent any money on this prosthesis , and we donated our time and efforts to help this wonderful cause! We also do several charity prosthesis for humans as well , the 14,000.00 it was valued at was equated to a Symes Prosthesis for a human patient. If you want you can take a look at our Facebook page . ProsthetiCare prosthetics and

  • @MrLaneFarr You guys are awesome!!

  • @MrLaneFarr ...this is wonderful, just wonderful to watch as the horse takes off to run. What freedom he truly felt and feels WOW, so glad this all came together. I post this now on Feb 2012, how is Midnight doing now? thank you for sharing

  • @MrLaneFarr Wouldnt he make an amazing theripy horse for children and people learning to live with prosthetic limbs?

  • And they were like "There, we fixed it" :)

  • This is thrilling to see-horses are movment specilists, and they move for fun (running, jumping etc) so its wonderful to see this little guy acting on his natural instincts! Just thrilling! This seems like an amazing place thathe lives at!

  • How is it surprising in the least that animals can wear prosthetics? We're animals, after all.

  • Wow, he can still run. Amazing

  • Nicee video!! =)

  • well done you for doing something brilliant for this horse.....i had a miniature horse that broke her leg and everyone (exept my vet) said i should put her down..after 6 months of care she was fully recovered and gave birth to a lovely colt foal.........thank god i didnt listen to everyone.

  • Luv this video! This vid shows u that u have to be confident in urself! Thank u ppl who support Midnite and truely have warm hearts! :D

  • I knew a girl who wuz confined 2 a wheelchair and i culn't give her money but i CULD give her a friend which is wat i did. And every time i say dis i get tears in my eyes and cry: the last time i wuld ever c her(cuz i wuz moving) i said goodbye to her and walked out to my dad and my dad said the girl and her MOM were crying and her mom said she showed my daughter true friendship! So shut ur ass hole vlbilly and respect the ppl who make good choices to help otjers FIRST then themselves!

  • This really warms my heart becuase I can relate. Don't worry Midnight. You're not alone :)

  • I just had to read about this at school in a TFK and i love and work with horses so this is really amaizing to me!! ;)

  • So glad he lived :)

  • That is a amazing :) <3

  • Miracle Midnight!!!

  • I had a lump in my throat watching him run too,,,what an awesome story,,such dedicated rescuers,,,keep making a difference to the horses that need you,,,,,xoxo

  • Great story

  • Fucking ads

  • @danimal97520 firefox+adblocker ;)

  • @danimal97520 Well you need to watch your mouth!

  • @Susanrdnckwmn New to youtube huh? No offense, but there is cussing all over youtube. By now you should know this. If you don't wish to be offended, then perhaps you shouldn't be reading the comments...

  • @danimal97520 Whatever! Some people just can't be happy for something that doesn't benefit them! Just goes to show you- there are some 'miracles' in life!

  • Beautiful.

  • That's beautiful.

  • a true miracle

  • This is such a touching story. I got a bit misty eyed seeing him run for the first time too. <3 Go Midnight!

  • haha stupid horse

  • @themassakr smarter then you...

  • @themassakr The horse is a lot smarter than you!

  • @themassakr haha stupid human is probably what the horse is thinking!

  • Why is that far fetched or crazy? It makes perfect sense, and is probably easier because animals won't complain about minor discomforts. Even more so because it is easier to replace the bottom half leg of a horse than a human; The bottom half of a horse's leg is effectively just one unit. It doesn't have feet to control and bend. Anyways, just thought that was kind of stupid of the documentary.

    __

This warms my heart, especially when it started running.

  • Would you all shut the fuck up! It's their money to do what they want with. If you are so upset about not feeding the starving children then why don't you go put your own money towards them instead of bitching about it here on a youtube video. Do something about it!

Anyway I am very happy they were able to help him rather then put him down. I also have 3 miniature horses so it makes the story even more heartwarming .

  • FFS, can we leave the ego-centric religion god crap out of this and be glad for the horse?

christians just can't be happy, always negative....

  • Awww...Midnight is so cute! I'm so glad he can run and play now. : )

(To all the negative neigh-sayers out there, you don't deserve a response.)

  • We need more beautiful acts of love and joy like this in our world. :)

  • Wow, what a heart warming story. Stories like this restores ones faith in humanity to overcome every obstacle, even for disabled distant relatives.

Also from religious vultures who believe free will plus omnipotence is not an impossible oxymoron. lolz

  • @vlbilly Nonhuman dumbass

All the problems with the world are because humans like you still exist!

  • @vlbilly We'll say the same thing to you when you're in the hospital and need help.

A life is a life. You're not better than any other living creature.

  • @vlbilly Wait, who died of starvation? The ranch owner's kids? I didn't hear that. It's just economics - people made a prosthetic limb, it got used. There was a business transaction. Happens pretty much every day. Also, compared with the costs of owning a horse, I'd wager 14 grand to not matter in the long run.

  • @Lopperopoly How could you be so insensitive and stupid?

  • @Lopperopoly How about it not to matter in the long run for you!

  • @vlbilly

Wow, really? What about all the money you spend on things you don't really need for yourself? Why don't you put that money toward starving children?

  • @vlbilly Yeah, lets b*tch and moan about helping out a fellow living creature with a disability. I hope you don't watch television, movies, or sporting events, because billions get spent in those industries, for nothing more noble than our entertainment. Talk about a waste! You seem to like video games....I hope you don't purchase them, because $50 for a game would feed a LOT of starving children......

And never mind that many advances in human medicine were made first in animal medicine.

  • @vlbilly "we spent 14,000 fucking dollars on a horse"... did you have a hand in funding the prosthesis? If not, what's the issue? It's not YOUR money that was spent but I bet you wouldn't bitch half as much if it was a neglected 4 year old child getting the help it needed. Like SharpSide said, why don't you spend your money on stuff you don't need and give it to the starving children. You're just as much of a hypocritical self righteous douche as Bono...

  • @vlbilly Until you give up all your earthly possessions and give them to the needy, hush. Besides, the prosthetic was donated. It was worth that much money, but no money was spent on it. Isn't it great when you know the facts??

  • @vlbilly Not for the people that care about this horse. Maybe to you, but not them.

  • @vlbilly Maybe you're a waste of time!

  • Let's hold Love and Light in our hearts and stories like this will become commonplace! ♥

  • man tears of joy have been shed.

"look at him, oh, midnight, look at him go, oh"

You can hear the tears weling up inside. This is a great thing to do.

  • @paulgregs2006 Yeah...because that's a proper way to put down an animal...sell that for around 50 dollars, have them shipped across the country in ungodly tight quarters while in excruciating pain, and then wait at a feed lot with minimal food and water...and then hung upside down with their throats slit (If they stay alive that long...and with a broken leg, this horse wouldn't have.) That is no proper way to euthanize an animal. I sure hope you don't do this to the things you love.

  • @AmberElaine0824 troll much

  • @paulgregs2006 Really? Because I commented on your ignorant post? Wow.

  • @AmberElaine0824 no i was trolling and i see in worked even tho it was 6 months later lol

  • @paulgregs2006 How about we sell YOU FOR MEAT A#####E!

  • @Susanrdnckwmn lol i posted that a year ago and people are still replying lmao get a grip it was a joke!

  • Comment removed

  • I love how everything turns into a debate on God, nowhere in this video is God mentioned or implied. All you bible thumpin people need to realize that God is not in every little thing, and all you atheists need to realize that people can believe what they want, whether it's the same as you or not.

  • @kevfrmca

Don't speak for all of us or them.

  • This is riveting stuff. Maybe next you can do videos about the shits the staff takes.

  • @mogilny89p oh really, well maybe next time you don't make dumbass troll comments if ya don't like the video..fucking cunt ^ ^..

im expecting a reply douche im sure you want to protect your ego GL

  • @DungVids How about let's put a fake leg on you and see if it hopefully rots off!

  • @DungVids How about putting a fake leg on you and see if it rots off!

  • It's nice to see humans doing something really wonderful for the animals they share the world with. It gives one hope.

  • Wow....

A leg injury in a horse, if it's severe enough, is a death sentence for a horse. Seeing this is amazing!

  • @SunnasChariot Yes why can't some of the people posting negative and unsensitive comments about this innocent horse that was neglected by his HUMAN OWNERS understand that!? I guess because they know nothing about horses!

  • awesome!!

  • ;)

  • those Llamas are cute ..

  • Now he will never be able to run the derby, they will cry foul because he has a prosthetic. A man with two prosthetic legs actully runs faster now than he did before and does not qualify to compete with non physically challenged. This is a great story though. It goes to show we love our pets more than we love other humans.

  • @SteelWeed2010

Personally, I am glad that he won't be forced to run the derby, maybe he can actually have an enjoyable and relaxing life. =)

  • @SteelWeed2010 A mini would never run in a race anyways. :) Only thoroughbreds and quarter horses typically do. Oh, and arabians for endurance. Minis were never intended for speed. Just to be cute.

  • Can I adopt him?

  • You rock, Midnight.

  • Midnight should meet Molly the Katrina pony (who also has a prosthetic lower leg)

  • made my morning!!

  • this is actually amazing. now people don't have to put down their horses if they get a broken leg. go Midnight, run free! :' D

  • things like this makes me cry

  • Cyborg horse for the best win this year!

  • Texas has heart! What a great story!

  • great video but please give the boy in the beginning of the video some food!! HE IS DISGUSTINGLY SKINNY EHHHH

  • @blurredlife07 That's a girl...but I agree. lol

  • i have one leg and i ride horses. this is the most amazing thing....warmed my heart :)

  • wonderful 5**********

  • love it....thanks for sharing Jean!

  • That was such a joy to see. Long may Midnight run!

  • Wow! That's amazing! It was truly magical to see him run! :)

  • man tears of joy were shed when the horse started running.

  • that's sweet they saved him !!!

my parents would have got the gun and put him down. they always say if the horse can't work he's no good for anything, just gonna suffer so might as well end it now

    that's really sweet

  • @Smperk33 It was donated.

  • Brought tears to my eyes - they are so worth the extra trouble to help them.

  • With all the bad news, finally one story of joy.

The previous owner's name should be posted, just to see who would abuse such a beautiful creature of God.

Many thanks to all those who made this happen!

    This made us so happy!

  • Praise God.

  • @Brucev7 why? It was people who had the prosthetic made.

  • @Larkahncieling and praise God. Isn't it a wonderful video?

  • @Brucev7 It is a beautiful story, but dont "praise god" for any of this, if you believe in a god, It made midnight without part of its leg, and Man made midnight a leg. Give credit to the people who cared enough to try, not the god who did not care enough to make a complete horse.

  • @vitalem4 Now c'mon now. Don't be an old sour pus and spoil this beautiful video just because you don't love Jesus and your neighbors. Who do you think made the mind, materials in order to make this prosthesis?

  • @Brucev7 I am a Humanist, i love humanity because thats the right thing to do, not because some magical zombie Jew committed suicide on a plank of wood.

  • @Brucev7 When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. Exodus 21:7-9

You can quote the bible all you want, as can anyone. Does not change the fact that their most likely is not a God or gods, and even less likely that there was a "Christ"

And if there was He/She is directly responsible for all natural Horrors

  • @vitalem4 There you go not understanding the scriptures and pulling out a random passage. If you would stop living a life of sin, turn to God, you would live the best life possible. Loving God, your neighbors, seeking a godly fulfilled life.

  • @Brucev7 Regardless the bible is a Translation of a translation of a translation, of an oral history of people who's understanding of the world around them was so limited they through that the blood of a lamb could ward off evil spirits.

It is sad that you know so little about your own religion, you like most Christians, most likely only know what your priest/preacher tells you. If you actually study the faith you will see why it does not hold up to scrutiny

  • @vitalem4 Why are you people posting religion comments when this video is about a miniature horse?

  • @vitalem4 No, don't praise God. He had nothing to do with this! God just created the Earth and all the living creatures on it, including man. God just gave man the ability to create those artificial legs. But does man have unlimited powers? We are all different, we are all imperfect. The horse may lack a hoof, but you lack something more important - something you are not aware of. Just know this, "Without God, nothing is possible; with God, everything is possible!"

  • @Zhonguoria 1st your God is only 5000 years old, the universe is much older then that. Second If your god actually exists then by your argument he created a 3 legged horse just to see what would happen. He sent that earthquake to Japan just to see how we would react, and he created Cancer because he wanted to see just how long it would take us to fix it.

If through God all things are possible, that includes Evil.

  • ok, who would give this thumbs down??

  • Wow. When it ran it actually made me tear up a little. What a great story.

  • Eat your heart out Lil Sebastion

  • Thanks for making me smile and happy.

  • What a HAPPY piece of news. Yay. Yay indeed : )

  • Thanks for giving us some positive news! :)

  • i've seen this happen to a horse but it was her front leg and but it was metal and shaped like a hoof, with a smile face on it, se everywhere she went she left a smile hoof print : )

  • @2101lovelilly her name was Molly. :)

  • I know that if this happened to my horse, I'd be grateful to have this !

  • can mini horse be ridden?

    what are they good for?

  • @t5e2 Can they be ridden, well yes and no. They are used in circuses with monkey's riding them but they aren't safe for children to ride, not that they can't take the weight of a small child, they don't have the temperament, most are just too mean. They can be trained to pull small carts, which depending on the need, could be helpful. but for the most part, they are pets.

  • You know amidst all the terrible things going on it is refreshing just to hear about something that is happy.

  • @Bobofet241 i agree! made my morning!!

  • Look at Midnight go !! UHHH!! Great stuff!

  • imagine a ant with 1 of these

  • Thank you for giving this little fella a chance at life! This brought a tear to my eye.

  • @RedfireBlueice Me too.

    Truth~Peace~Love2All

  • Thank you for not puting him down and showing some humanity! woot woot.

  • Race horses are sent to the butcher when they break a leg... Double standards? I think so

  • @renumeratedfrog Well, they're a rescue so the double standard is not on them.

  • aww:)

  • =/

  • awww poor midnight

  • Poor little guy. But at least he's able to run and stuff again.
