  • ive had quite a few fake £1 but no rare 20p yet :(

  • keep it and in 10 years time it will be worth double. Well done on the find :-) I'm always just double checking 20p pieces now all the time

  • Just an update, I sold it last night to a private collector on ebay for £214. So not bad considering ive increased my 20p's value by over 1000% lol, cheers for all your comments.

  • ohh dear there selling for 5k +

  • saw your video.Oh no! hate to tell you there's one on ebay for £10,000,000 probably the one you just sold for £214 better luck next time

  • yeah that wont sell dumbass.

  • yeh u stupid idiot it wont sell

  • If you really want to sell it on ebay, then suggest a "Buy it now" price of £400. Give it 48 hours & if it sells, then great. If not just lower the price. But unless you really need the cash, I would hold on to it. It's been 300 years since there was a undated coin. Let the heat & idiots on ebay die down, then see what the narket is doing. I can see these going for thousands of ££££ in the future.

  • I'd value them at about £20-25.

The royal mints last mistake was a 2p in 1983, they cocked up 450 of them, with only 450 error coins in existence naturally they command a catalogue price (spink) of about £2-300.

They won't go to ££££ in the future that is not how markets work, first there is madness (like now) then reality sets in.

In 10 yrs they'll sell for about £2, thats when i'd buy up a load.

This is like tulip bulbs or dot-com bubbles.

You sell when people are greedy.

  • Cheers for all the comments. I was watching that auction wardie, and I thought exactly the same, so I think that one was dodgy. When my gf gets home (I dont have an ebay account :P), we will put it on for £50, and see if it gets any more.

  • dude, keep it, the banks are giving them back to the Royal mint, so when u wait, u will get LOADS.

  • Well you can post it me, lol, failing to do that hold onto it because it will only increase in value since only about 200,000 were released. All the best, Simeon Tuitt - Internet Marketer

  • Keep it for now, let the heat die down. One auction is over £1000 now, but I get the feeling these are fake bids. Why would you bid over £1000 when there are plenty of buy it now for £250?? If I were you, I'd put it in a safe place & just keep checking the market.

  • Ive got one as well and i will just wack it on eBay with a starting price of £50 win/win then

  • Yes you should put it on ebay some one has bid £410 for one and it is still going up so yeah put it on ebay.
