I have a question for you skateboarders. I think its cool and all. And I am planning to learn this summer. But why do you guys grind so little of the rail? On alot of skate vids i see them only grinding like the last few feet of the rail. Why not the full thing? Not trying to piss anyone off, just a question.

because its pretty hard to get to the very first bit of the rail and as you grind you might lose your balance
