its a hinge joint not a ball joint.
No, it is a Ball joint because the trailer also needs to go up and down, not just side to side. that is why you see it tipping when I drive fast.

you could make the coolest little game outta this stuff(just with the car)...you could have different bodies and customizable parts and engine upgrades and stuff like that...it would sweep the nation

Thank you. To avoid the jack knifing all you have to do is limit the joint settings.
