  • Did your heart pounding?

  • Hey Bluediver112, I have been looking for free info on how to breath up, but I am struggling with the secrecy and the desire for people to get people to sign up for 1000's of dollar courses. I actually have been practicing pranayam for two years. I started long breath holds the other day and did 4 mins after a few days of trying - it was a struggle. Can you give me some references were people are freely sharing their breath holding preparations. YOu can email me at realitycorrodes@gmail.com

  • @realitycorrodes I would appreciate this a well :)

  • I didn't know justin beiber was a freediver..

  • Would be cool to see or hear your heartrate during a hold.

  • Use this -> 'Fc Kahuna - Hayling'

Saw it on a Trubridge video.

  • A very yery good breathhold boy!!!! Excellent!!!!

  • u got any tips for me im starting out but i can only make it to 2:15 =(

  • Post Moree!!! I've never seen anyone hold their breath this longg!!

  • Do you ever measure time by counting the contractions? I can stand about 11, which got me to my PB. I have read in web sites that competitive freedivers shoot for around 30. (For reference, my PB is 4:02, so take this in context.)

  • @okuwater I dont count my contractions, but I might next time I hold.

maybe im not counting right, but I just counted about 70 from when the lightest one started in this video. What qualifies as one contraction?

  • @bluediver112 Yes, 70. So I think you're right. That amounts to about 35 per minute. I get around 20 per minute.

  • My best record is also 4:20

  • Can you go as long sitting up?

  • GREAT PROGRESS !! :)))

  • @0628353 to train i do the training tables found here: chbf (DOT) com/satt/menu (DOT) htm (sorry about the link, youtube wont let me post full links), i do alternating running and yoga days mon-fri, and have been doing nightly meditations for months now, before i started breath holding. good luck, 3:30 is a good time!

  • How exactly did you prepare for this hold? Do you deep breath before? Stretch?

  • @okuwater i lay down, relax, and breath normal for about 3 mins, do a practice hold, in this case it was a 4 minute hold (which already beat my record), relax and breath normal for 5 mins, 3 big breaths and a purge (getting all the air out i can) before my final big breath.
