@AltirisX Because its also a simulator, and many people do not think it as a game, but was simulator and want realism. Ofc they can get some realism by buying good addon planes that actually work much like real one, and are not toys like default ones.
@tonyb1511 Yes you will. I have landed good payware airplanes with +250 knots in normal load and still be able to stop in time. Especially with default its very possible. No matter how realistic you set your settings, their flight models are still bad.

I would love to see you try do that with realism settings on. Also I have NEVER experienced this in playing the game, I believe you have tweaked the settings such as a brake sensitivity. Put everything on full realism and try to fly before you criticize a game in which you are clearly not using to it's full potential.

Usually I crashed or experienced a gear malfunction while attempting the same maneuver and landings shown on the video

i don't know how to fly airbus a318, a319, a320, a321 because when you are on short final in the airbus a321 your aircraft just flys back to like 3,000ft
there is some things like that this.... Like if I fly around water then the plane lands on the water sometimes then like if I come in I set the brakes to like a 3 then the plane just sops which seams a little bit unrealistic....
I don't know anyone in the FS community who bothers with the default tubeliners. There are some who persist with the Cessnas etc but in truth Level D, RealAir & PMDG would not allow such as is demonstrated in the vid. There are other great companies too. I have to take issue with the vid as I really don't blv that the sim was set to realistic. The way that Airbus hit the tarmac and bounce off would never happen if everything was on. Though I have yet to fly it after over 4 years ownership.
i actually disagree - the payware dc10 braking is realistic. At the high speed at touchdown (400<) knots, the spoilers and reverse thrust are more effective since more air is being forced on them. Near the end of the dc10 clip when the aircraft reaches standard landing speeds, the braking is realistic.
Lol I can tell you pushed the npse down for the A330 and the B737 which realistically would've stopped in time if the tires burst especially with the breaks. The DC10 is reasonable because you didn't push the nose down but let the breaks and reverse thrust + spoilers to the job. Lol Nice Trick XD
IDK if your fsx is modded. but my fsx doesnt do any of those things. ive tried. Try putting the realism settings to hard. then try it! =) Your airbus rols very easily. mine doesnt. =\ and when i land at high speeds and try to break my wheels break off. (not litterly of course but the plane slides into the ground until you cant see the wheels anymore) Thats interesting.
@boeingsarethebest u need to open speed brakes use the brakes on the wheels an the thrust reversers if u aint got a joystick i advise u to use auto brakes 1 or 2

@satanbeater as an average joe who has the game I can tell you that you don't need to be a trained pilot to play. You do need to be a little patient to learn it though.
Real pilots are trained to the point where they can handle all sorts of emergencies, like landing a passenger jet on a river or with no fuel left. They have to get it right on the first attempt as well, no reloading a saved game for them. You don't have to be anywhere near that good to play a computer game.
And for the rest I have a question. What screen recorder do you use? I tried a couple of recorders but can I get a good one I can start in-game and without paying after 1 month? Nice videos cessna:)
Thats why we have PMDG, Level D, Ifly, and so on...those are default planes, which are far from realistic. Btw even that DC10 from CLS i guess, is not realistic at all...try to do that with MD11 from PMDG, and you will see that everything work as it should.
You can't say that there is limitation by showing as default FS planes...thats why we have planes mentioned above.
Your Unrealistic, If you set the settings on realism to high and correct your sensitivities on your joystick YOU WILL NOT be able to twirl an A320 like you did. Yeah we all know the game has problems. And yes people know this does not at all simulate real flight, the only thing the game does is simulate ILS approach pretty will and give you a look at flying, but at least make a realistic video : \

1st... switch on damages.. undercarriage will collapse. 2nd switch on advanced flight model... 3rd get PMDG or Level-D... 4th install FSpassenger.. and so on.. as FS 09/FSX as sold is just a basis.

@satanbeater as an average joe who has the game I can tell you that you don't need to be a trained pilot to play. You do need to be a little patient to learn it though.
Real pilots are trained to the point where they can handle all sorts of emergencies, like landing a passenger jet on a river or with no fuel left. They have to get it right on the first attempt as well, no reloading a saved game for them. You don't have to be anywhere near that good to play a computer game.

Well CLS aircrafts are not very realistic, try with PMDG aircraft.

Thats why we have PMDG, Level D, Ifly, and so on...those are default planes, which are far from realistic. Btw even that DC10 from CLS i guess, is not realistic at all...try to do that with MD11 from PMDG, and you will see that everything work as it should.
You can't say that there is limitation by showing as default FS planes...thats why we have planes mentioned above.

Your Unrealistic, If you set the settings on realism to high and correct your sensitivities on your joystick YOU WILL NOT be able to twirl an A320 like you did. Yeah we all know the game has problems. And yes people know this does not at all simulate real flight, the only thing the game does is simulate ILS approach pretty will and give you a look at flying, but at least make a realistic video : \

before I start.. that blue box at 0:15 says everything... how do you expect to break the brakes or anything without damage model switched on????
1st... switch on damages.. undercarriage will collapse. 2nd switch on advanced flight model... 3rd get PMDG or Level-D... 4th install FSpassenger.. and so on.. as FS 09/FSX as sold is just a basis.
do all this and try again. enjoy

dude you just prove your own self wrong with the DC-10 and you probably had it on amateur mode , i play it in profesional mode with FS passenger add on so passengers are added to my aircraft givin it weight etc ... i can assure you landing like this in FS passenger in career would pretty much get you fired
