Honestly, I fell in love with a nice girl and we got married. Then 7 years later, she's calling it quits. The only thing that is constant in this everchanging world is God. If you are looking for someone to marry, marry someone who loves God more than you. And you will find him or her staying with you til death.
This is almost exactly like how it went for me, the only thing was that she ended up with him, by this I mean the whole series. Now I barely even see her around school anymore. Its like she completely forgot me.
Sometimes it works.. it just takes a lot of patience. I spent 2 years being the nice guy, and eventually after me having to sit and watch her go through 3 failed relationships, she eventually realized that the one thing that always remained constant was me. We're engaged now :)
To be honest, the chance to convert from a nice guy to a special someone is very very small...you will be a backup for a long time and she might not need the backup at all!!

The truth is that once you're a nice guy to the eyes of a certain girl, that girl doesn't want to be with you. They want to have you as just a friend because they don't want to lose that friendship. She has to deal with so many assholes that having a male friend who isn't thinking about sex all the time makes her want to keep that friend and not ruin that friendship by getting into anything serious.
Theres a point where every nice guy is pushed against a wall. He thinks he cant tell his friend how he really feels about her. Sometimes it works.. it just takes a lot of patience. I spent 2 years being the nice guy, and eventually after me having to sit and watch her go through 3 failed relationships, she eventually realized that the one thing that always remained constant was me. We're engaged now :)

The truth is that once you're a nice guy to the eyes of a certain girl, that girl doesn't want to be with you. They want to have you as just a friend because they don't want to lose that friendship. She has to deal with so many assholes that having a male friend who isn't thinking about sex all the time makes her want to keep that friend and not ruin that friendship by getting into anything serious.

Theres a point where every nice guy is pushed against a wall. He thinks he cant tell his friend how he really feels about her.
