I'm hearing all the notes correctly and I'm reading the score correctly, but when try to play the piece with 'regular' oboe, it always sounds half step low, why is this happening with oboe d'amore?
i played in tel aviv with this choir and i think soloist shortly after the album release and the orchestra got a copy. It is still one of my favourite perfomances of anything. Do you have the other slow aria with the kid? I cant remember the name?

@jiwonast222 This is a baroque oboe d'amore that would be tuned to the old chamber pitch, about a half note lower than the modern A=440

A wonderful voice, very high and clear. Perhaps more like a mezzo-soprano?
