To be honest the diagonal theory is approached w/ extreme skepticism seeing as how you have it as a Wave 3 since it is actually a termination pattern it can only be in a position as the final actionary wave before reversal. ie Wave 5 or Wave 5 of C in an ABC
Excellent post, yet again, Max. As this comment is written, both London and the U.S. are making new highs above (c). In the U.S. there is yet a gap to fill at 1,115 in the S&P 500. We also have the weekly down trend line at 1,117 to 1,121, so the assumption is that (C) = [A], the a-b-c, down is to [B] and this wave up is to [C]? How do you see it?
Great post. Am wondering how to label the Japanese stock market -- it has been down/sideways for 20 years. Is it even following the EW pattern and will there ever be an impulse five wave up that takes it beyond its 1989 high?

What I show you in this correction was in my opinion the END of the corrective rally...
however as we have seen, the market has pushed on...
I still think the ABC I show here is valid, but it now looks like that ABC completes to make an even larger degree A...
with an ABC decline following it to make a B...
and the latest rally is a 5 wave C...
Check out my latest video for full details and chart links, but beware it is quite a long video and VERY detailed...

Thanks for the kind words.
To be honest I have no idea what the Japanese stock market is looking like from an EW perspective...
I haven't taken a look at it in AGES!
Will try and look for some count ideas, but I can't promiss you a video on that one any time soon

Fascinating video Max. What a mess! You seem to have made sense of it though. Thanks for the tutorial.

thanks Iroxton...
Yeah these sort of thing are real "headache generators"...
But I think if you play around with it abit, and break it down into bitesize chunks...
you should be able to find something that leads you to discover a count
