The word that is pointed out to be Mohammad in this verse is the Hebrew the word mahamaddim, when spoken this word sounds similar to the name Mohammad. But in reality in the Hebrew language means delights, delightfulnesses & not Mohammad. Though Muslims need to find Muhammad mentioned because the Qur'an claims so, the Song of Songs is neither part of the Torah or the Gospel, so that this verse wouldn't help at all to satisfy this demand of the Qur'an even if it were to speak about Muhammad.

The Bible cannot have been written by men alone, there are too many miraculous signs. Like all the prophecies and predictions made hundreds of years before they were fulfilled. Yes, clayden, you are absolutely right. The ORIGINAL bible is indeed the words of the one God. However, all the bibles we have nowadays are 'TRANSLATION', and we don't have the original to compare it to, do we? Even if the original manuscript exists, it is written in a language that is not longer used. So, how can we be absolutely sure that the translation is 100% accurate and not 'adjusted' in any way?
Language is very sophisticated, and one must not only know the grammatical structure, but also the culture where it is spoken. I give an example. For someone not knowing about baseball, the word 'home run' can be mistakenly translated as 'running to one's house' or even 'a house that makes a run', can it not? So, that is why we say that the bible is corrupted. The translations and interpretations has been manipulated and misinterpreted.

I can sympathize with Muslim clerics through the ages loving their faith so much that they see references to it everywhere. Even if, they have to invent them, to satisfy their own lust for power and control. There were church fathers also who put God and themselves above the mercy, that they were commanded to show the people. Love is the message that all true faiths would preach. 1) the concept that the koran has never been changed is a very new idea to islam. Islamic scholars in the first 500 years of islam *NEVER* made that claim.

I don't consider the koran to be vaild for several reasons, but the biggest reason is, none of the events outside of mohammad were written by eye witnesses. For example, the koran talks about Jesus. However, the koran was written 600 years after Jesus died. The Bible does contain eye wittness accounts of Jesus's life, and the koran doesn't.

Mark was written around 50 AD, Matthew around 65 AD.
I don't bother Matthew to be the oldest or not, it is put the first in the Bible, besides even Mark's dating is argued about (1st or 2nd centuries), & still contains mistakes, wikipedia says "Some scholars believe that the Gospel of Mark contains mistakes concerning Galilean geography and customs[17][18][19], supporting that the author, or his sources, were unfamiliar with the actual geography of that area & its customs" & u can check the references for Christian writers. as no place here.

You are confusing 2 different things. The oldest compiled Bible is from 325 AD. However, every single peice of writting in the Bible was written long before 325 AD. The last book of the Bible written was 90 AD.
You're correct. The King James Bible is about as good as toilet paper. It's a translation of a translation (from Koine Greek / Hebrew to latin to english).
If you need a good english translation, go with the NASB. If you want a pretty good translation that is easier to read, go with the NIV.

In Hebrew, mohammads name is not mentioned. All hebrew speakers can tell you that the word muslims think is mohammad actually means "all together lovely". Infact, there is not a single name given given Song Of Solomon. All the people in that book are faceless and nameless. They may not have even lived (the truth is, we don't know if Song of Solomon is a poem about real people or not). Not only that, but the events are talking about the present tense, and not prophecy.

Muslims keep sayin that Jesus and other prophets were Muslims. So if I may ask, did they pray facing the Kabba? Did they recite prayers in Arabic? Did they pray 5 times a day? Did they do pilgrimage to Mecca? And how many 'prophets' were there between Ishmael and Muhammad?
1. No, they faced Jerusalem when they prayed, but so did the Prophet Muhammad. This was before God told him to turn to the Kabba.
2. Prayers were in the original language. Every messenger received revelation and prayed in their own language. Islam is NOT an Arabic religion.
3. They prayed much more than 5 times a day. The Prophet Muhammad prayed much more than 5 times a day. 5 times a day is the standard limit for us normal people.
So if Islam is not an Arabic Religion, why should one convert to Islam in the Arabic language, i.e the Shahada? And why are prayers at Mosques said in Arabic worldwide if Islam is not an Arabic language? Why did God tell Muhammad to face Kabba? Did God change his mind? Coz in John 8:20-32 Jesus tells us that it doesnt matter where we worship or face but what matters is worshiping the father in Spirit and in Truth. Then 5 times a day for normal people??? So were prophets super human beings?
The praying of then muslims is NOT different from todays muslims !! the Sunni way never changed (its the same as it was before). the shutti's call them selves muslims, and they changed the way praying is.

First of all, 'im' is NOT a 'plural of respect' in the Hebrew language. If you are going to say that 'machmad' is a reference to Muhammad, then you have to place your prophet in the context of chapter five of the Song. Let me know when you are ready to debate this.

The word that is pointed out to be Mohammad in this verse is the Hebrew the word mahamaddim, when spoken this word sounds similar to the name Mohammad. But in reality in the Hebrew language means delights, delightfulnesses & not Mohammad. Though Muslims need to find Muhammad mentioned because the Qur'an claims so, the Song of Songs is neither part of the Torah or the Gospel, so that this verse wouldn't help at all to satisfy this demand of the Qur'an even if it were to speak about Muhammad.

mate, take it with a pinch of salt. the Prophet PBUH did nothing illegal. He consummated his marriage when she hit puberty. He taught that you should live by the laws of the country you live in. So if its illegal, dont do it. He also proved that age does not matter as long as the person has passed puberty AND IS mature. He PBUH told us what kind of person we should marry. Yes, clayden, you are absolutely right. The ORIGINAL bible is indeed the words of the one God. However, all the bibles we have nowadays are 'TRANSLATION', and we don't have the original to compare it to, do we? Even if the original manuscript exists, it is written in a language that is not longer used. So, how can we be absolutely sure that the translation is 100% accurate and not 'adjusted' in any way?

Language is very sophisticated, and one must not only know the grammatical structure, but also the culture where it is spoken. I give an example. For someone not knowing about baseball, the word 'home run' can be mistakenly translated as 'running to one's house' or even 'a house that makes a run', can it not? So, that is why we say that the bible is corrupted. The translations and interpretations has been manipulated and misinterpreted.

I can sympathize with Muslim clerics through the ages loving their faith so much that they see references to it everywhere. Even if, they have to invent them, to satisfy their own lust for power and control. There were church fathers also who put God and themselves above the mercy, that they were commanded to show the people. Love is the message that all true faiths would preach. Anything less belies the source as being corrupt. Only Islam sees a threat from outside it's faith in others.

Jews believed in Moses without having a previous scripture foretelling His coming.

1) the concept that the koran has never been changed is a very new idea to islam. Islamic scholars in the first 500 years of islam *NEVER* made that claim.

It's in your own hadiths. In fact, I have a book called "Idiot's guide to Islam" and even that book (written by a muslim) says that the early mosques didn't face mecca. Granted, the book is not a scholarly source, but I bought when I knew nothing about islam.
Yes, *TODAY* there is one koran. However, Buhadi (not sure of the spelling) says that hundreds of years after mohammads death, muslims burned other copies of the koran...meaning there was more than 1 koran.

I don't consider the koran to be vaild for several reasons, but the biggest reason is, none of the events outside of mohammad were written by eye witnesses. For example, the koran talks about Jesus. However, the koran was written 600 years after Jesus died. The Bible does contain eye wittness accounts of Jesus's life, and the koran doesn't.

I don't bother Matthew to be the oldest or not, it is put the first in the Bible, besides even Mark's dating is argued about (1st or 2nd centuries), & still contains mistakes, wikipedia says "Some scholars believe that the Gospel of Mark contains mistakes concerning Galilean geography and customs[17][18][19], supporting that the author, or his sources, were unfamiliar with the actual geography of that area & its customs" & u can check the references for Christian writers. as no place here.

You are confusing 2 different things. The oldest compiled Bible is from 325 AD. However, every single peice of writting in the Bible was written long before 325 AD. The last book of the Bible written was 90 AD.

You're correct. The King James Bible is about as good as toilet paper. It's a translation of a translation (from Koine Greek / Hebrew to latin to english).
If you need a good english translation, go with the NASB. If you want a pretty good translation that is easier to read, go with the NIV.
Stay away from the NLT and KJV.

In Hebrew, mohammads name is not mentioned. All hebrew speakers can tell you that the word muslims think is mohammad actually means "all together lovely". Infact, there is not a single name given given Song Of Solomon. All the people in that book are faceless and nameless. They may not have even lived (the truth is, we don't know if Song of Solomon is a poem about real people or not). Not only that, but the events are talking about the present tense, and not prophecy.

Mohammad is not mentioned in Song of Solomon in Hebrew because NO ONE is mentioned in Song of Solomon in Hebrew. There is not a single name given in that book. 1. No, they faced Jerusalem when they prayed, but so did the Prophet Muhammad. This was before God told him to turn to the Kabba.
2. Prayers were in the original language. Every messenger received revelation and prayed in their own language. Islam is NOT an Arabic religion.
3. They prayed much more than 5 times a day. The Prophet Muhammad prayed much more than 5 times a day. 5 times a day is the standard limit for us normal people.

The context of the passage identifies the person described as MKHMD as someone in the time of Solomon (Song 3:11) who is loved by a Shulamite (Song 6:13). He is red-haired (Song 5:10). None of these descriptions fits Muhamad who never visited Shunem in his life.

Moslems always ignore the context of a story & just pick verses that satisfy their agenda such as in this video. The root word מחמד (MKHMD) is used in other books also in the Old Testament. So using moslems' claim the following verse will be written:
Ezekiel 24:16 "Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the MOHAMAD of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears"
