i know i'm gonna get shit for this, but I can't understand how someone could enjoy their music. I've never been a fan of them, but since their latest release I actually hate them. Get some musical talent, my deaf grandma could make better music than tapes 'n tapes! If your gonna play simple music, at least make it sound good. They DO sound like the pixies. The singing is obvioulsy influenced by Frank Black whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. Listen to the Pixies, then say that they sound nothing alike.

Not going to say they sound NOTHING alike, but they're pretty different. Pixies didn't use keys and euphonium. Pixies was more straight ahead rockin', not the weird time signatures and stuff these guys use. Pixies had edgier, more driving guitar work.

Anyone who hinges a description on Pixies comparisons isn't going beyond the vocals.
