I should Also note that tbf has a slight delay.. it's unnoticable but because of it you cannot do more than 3-4 consecutive tbfs in a row. It's good to combine it with ground slashes. Also remember to angle your bfs or else you'll stagger from a block.

:/ Good tutorial, but it's the same as everyone's. There are more tips to help you train; for example when I tbf, it helps to get the rhythm. Your bf should be left-right click; almost at the same time. Also practice doing double slashes without the block (it also locks your animation.) The one thing that really helped was that I skipped learning tbf and tried to tbf dash. I kept trying and I eventually tbf'd without noticing because I was concentrating on the dash part.

Levion here a tip ur First slash is at the lowest Point in which any slash can reach then you're 2nd slash is the highest point in ur jump and ur 3rd is the one when ur falling down Remember if u can't make ur 2nd slash at it's highest Point then u won't be able to do ur 3rd slash but if ur first slash isn't low enough u won't be able to perform ur 2nd slash at it's highest point if u can do 1st and 2nd perfectly 3rd is a breeze

Yes you can tbf with kodachi but the timing might be different than to a sword (katana)

actually hard dbf is harder than the actual tbf but it helps a lot but tbf is actually very easy to do as he said it takes patience and practice but to bee honest

well, i'm not sure if that is true, because i do not think i can press block much faster. even though i can animation lock while floatslashing. Also, i made a tbf macro today, and my computer can do it. I made it as fast as possible, and the dbf at 1:24 is impossible for me. i will make a bf hang macro now and see what happens.

ok i finally got around to makin a macro for bf hang, and it somehow glitched with my tbf macro, and it happened that everytime i jump+bf it would do the hang for me. so i tried a few times, and found out i could do it =). now i have right click as block, left click as attack and tab as hang, and it is much easier to do bf hang.

I'm using a laptop that perfectly fine.. but then there are more people in the room I can't tbf. I can do it easily with 16 people in a room on my desktop though.

You need a gaming mouse to tbf or a mouse with the littlest of delay and lightning fast reaction to clicks, usually a gaming mouse.

yes, i've got a tip for u...

the hard dbf dont have a big difference of the ez one but, it has a difference still.

if u r using Rusty or Military or golden dragon sword, i strongly recommand u to do this with Lightweight cuz it is fast. And when u got this ( TBF & hard DBF) mastered, use other swords.

Tip*: Try to press instantly jump and slash, and the same time.

Not all mouses can tbf. Its random. As I said below, my crappy palm sized 5 dollar retractable luckily could.

It should take little to no effort to slash block w/ your right and feel very soft.

If your comfortable bfing w/ different b4 (slashes look like blocks) then ur fine.

If you serious about using right click I recommend going to frys and buying random mouses under 15 dollars and see which can.

I do actually use right click but, for some odd reason, the best tbfers and dngs I know use shift. Theres even a girl from wuju who could use both shift and right click. (Shift to prove ppl its possible). Last 5 people I taught actually use shift and were able to tbf at least once. The only main disadvantage I can think of about shift is that its harder to use your movement keys, i think.

If your comfortable w/ shift and you can float slash as fast as this video, slash looks like blocks, use it

^You dont need super speed, the person in this video didn't even freeze his float slash blocks. Just as long as slashes look like blocks. My slashes are left + e, my blocks are right + q. I only use left and right in battle but I have proven to people that I can also tbf w/ e + q, and left + q.

Not all mouses can tbf. Its random. I didn't realize it but, I was lucky my crappy mini retractable half-the-size-of-my-hand mouse could tbf. My mouse broke (its cheap) last month and I bought 3 mouses from frys, 1 couldn't at all, 1 kind of, and the other I'm using now - all were under 15 dollars. My bros new comp mouse can't.

It should be feel effortless to left-right, finger tips.

It is possible with shift, I do tbf with shift but it's very exhausting for my pinky.

All these tools will help. Bf hang may be one of the most frustrating but keep trying. I learned tbf w/ just 5 days of bf hang, got a random tbf the 5th day. None of this is impossible.

One thing a lot of people forget to mention is finger placement for this kind of stuff. Myself Included, but if you place your index finger more to the right like on the side of the left click, and your middle finger more to the right also, sorta on the side of the mouse then you can click a whole lot faster depending on the shape of your mouse. Although generally I've used about ten or eleven mouses since I learned tbf and that seems to be the case. Hope this little piece of info helps anyone.
