hi i wanna know if u need more than 1 husky to keep a husky happy...do u need more than 2 for them to actnormal?

  • @squishyfatpigs 2 is better, but we had only one for the first 5 years we had Shiloh

  • But can i use it on my hair?

  • @blacklabel3980 Probably not a good idea.

  • furminator do a thing now thats like a vaccum attachment thing and it sucks up the fur as soon as you press the button thing so there is no mess on your carpet or grass

  • @cherryandpip I saw that! I will have to get one!

  • @africa555 That's about what I paid for it

  • You have some of the most beautiful dogsin the world :] I'm glad they have an owner as loving and clever as you

  • @MessingWithMatches Thanks so much!

  • COOL! with the fur that the FURminator took off, you can clump them together and make another husky! :)

  • @Thily1234 Yeah almost!

  • Doesnt mind it at all* sorry.

  • Im sooo glad i finally got one a little while back. I was two different ones before but found out it wasnt getting out as much hair, so found out about the furminator and loved it! Plus my sibe does seem to mind it at all. :)

  • @BimmerQueen Mine are usually pretty good with it.

  • i am the furminator and ill be back huskies

  • @Shadow9841 hahahah

  • What about all the fur in the yard? do u dispose of it somehow?

  • @MKHadouken Yup, we raked it up and toss it in the trash.

  • I was so glad that the person I got Kahlan from (my Husky) told me about the blowing the coat thing if they had not I would have taken her to the vet

  • @soliscjw Yeah it can be a shock to some people!

  • Which Furminator do you use? The one for short hair or long hair?

We have a Siberian Husky puppy who just started shedding for the first time. We went out and bought a Furminator (After watching this video and your recommendation) but after buying it I realized it was the one for short hair... Which one do you use?

  • @whoajosh I use the short haired one.

  • Do you do that every day of the year?

  • @692carmen Rake it u and toss it in the garbage

  • idk if you remember me but still havent had the chance to adopt my very own Husky :( but watching these videos makes me want one even more. i like giving dogs a nice brush outside, im more of an outdoor type of guy anyways.

  • @wolvekr3w They are an amazing breed of dog

  • Beautiful dogs. We miss our Husky. He's been gone 18 years after being with us for 16 years. Always used to say that we got enough "fuzz" off of him each Spring that my wife could have knitted a dog team!

  • @awkwarddude Awwww

  • Lots and lots and lots of flying fur :D

  • @bubbles201022 It's everywhere!

  • was shilo jelous when you got shelby?

  • beautiful Huskies.....I have a snow white one with blue eyes......great vlogg.......much love......donna

  • @rockyroad7771951 Thanks!

  • LOL! Brushing your dog on a windy day is not always a good idea, I've done that and come back inside the house wearing more hair then the dog! LOL!

  • @CamsArtisticJourney I just change my clothes

  • How much do u brush a husky daily or weekly?

  • @SWAGGY0 I brush mine every other day for about 20 minutes whilst his blowing his coat

  • @IMnineonetwo Thanks

  • @SWAGGY0 I brush mine about 5 mins a day when coat blowing

  • Thats a lot of fur x'd

  • @ZONNEBRIL97 Yes it is!

  • how do u pick up the fur that come of them?

  • @1102nm They are blowing their coat

  • Your first FURminator video was the first video I ever saw from this channel....it was also the video that made my mom decide we couldn't have a husky :P

  • @HeyItzShelbyE That is awesome!

  • How much would it be? Because the brush I have for my Siberian Husky doesn't do a thing!

  • @RidingBareback98 Check petsmart for prices

  • I bought one of those about a 3 weeks ago or so and its the only brush Newbie will allow me to use on him. He LOVES it.

  • @Troyju2006 Love it!

  • It's like snow... o-o

  • @gracecfacee Yup, kind of like snow

  • Whoa! Lots of fur!!! P.s love your backyard! So roomy (:!!!

  • @NejisGurl4Life Thanks!

  • wooow!that was the first time you furminated you dog in the new yard right?

  • Magick just blew his coat, looks 10 lbs lighter than when I got him in April. I bet he'll be glad the two-legger (me) will stop picking at his undercoat.

  • @DetroitTFC hahaha

  • Ahhh, 20 lbs. lighter!

  • @TheLionsDenNews Oh yes

  • how long was the brushing? How Many Minutes Or hours was it?

  • @FinWolf100 About 10 mins per dog

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs didn't your hands get sore?

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs Surprisingly, all the brushing looks kind of...therapeutic. I'm looking into getting a dog so this was helpful! :D

  • Fur: I'll Be Back!!!!!!!!!

  • @FinWolf100 Oh and it will!

  • Such an awesome tool!!. Couldnt live without ours :)

  • @MissSuz1975 Love it!

  • I know for sure that birds and squirrels around you are delighted! Such soft stuff to take to their nests.

  • @TheAntelwi Very true!

  • dang, looks like you lost a dog out there in the yard with as much came off of them as it did. wow!

  • @daddytech hehehe

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs my wife is looking at some of these on line for our Great Pyraneese she is plagued with really thick fur and sheds pretty much year around too so something like this might be good for her too. the only other thing i can think of is sheep shears but those are kinda expensive.

  • Well.....I know one breed I'm not getting. Not to say that I don't like huskies, which I do. But, besides not seeing myself somewhere where they would be alright, I think I'd have neighbors who would frown with all the fur flying xP

  • @Walidah People don't realize how much they actually shed! :)

  • i hope you did not pay top dollar for that ... i got my off ebay for 21.00$ but they work wonders

  • @stehlmottsee I wouldn't buy one off Ebay, mainly because I dont' want the "Fakes" I got mine straight from Furminator

  • @stehlmottsee just 21 dollar???? I found in pet shop furminator, but thing costs three times more. Around 57 euro for large dogs (To much for someone without regular job). I have short hair malamute and i need something like this...

    THX for info.

  • @uroswolf Be careful though, the knock-offs can injure your dogs. Its best to buy it from an authorized reseller

  • the furminator is great, but don't use it on the tail. my boy's tail was blowing so i used the furminator on it and now it looks like some rat tail. it looks terrible :( and its not showing any signs of filling in anytime soon, and he has a show in july :( mine dont really get the poofies, of course that could be because i never let them get that bad. i get them full grooms once a month, and i do partial grooms weekly at home. a velocity blower is a must have!

  • @satinswife You can use it on the tail but only go over it once or twice and thats it. And remember, don't brush hard at all. Just a gentle brush! Mine get poofies during coat blowing season even if I brush them every day. But I only Furminate them for 5 - 10 mins a day. That way they don't get to irritated! Do you pay to have them grommed once a month?

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs i worked in a grooming salon for 4 months so i know how to use it. ive never given them brush burn or anything, just his tail disappeared for some reason. i rarely use it anymore, i just use my velocity blower now. makes them so much softer :) i dont pay per se, i do a favor for a favor deal kinda thing. if i paid its $150 a month for them both. and ive got the velocity blower on loan from the salon so i can do them at home. i can do 3/4 grooms at home. it only takes 4 hours

  • @satinswife I have never taken either of mine to a groomer. I just furminate them and that's it. They are super soft, but they also get fed a high quaility dog food, which is good for their coat! It has never taken me 4 hours! Thats a long time!!

  • @GoneToTheSnowDogs mine go to dog shows and events where they must be in full show coat. mine eat raw fish and lamb along with other meats to keep their coats in good shape. my male is a red, and red coats get screwed up in the sun. it turned all wirey and with time and the proper diet and proper grooming, it has recovered itself and its as soft as a 3.5 year old red's fir should be. the 4 hours includes a super bath and conditioning, velocity blowing, brushing, combing, cologne application etc.

  • I love the color of Shelby's coat. You would defiantly expect to do a lot of that this summer lol.

  • @abab123x Oh yes!

  • Both Kodi and Molly have the poofies going on this week. I use a Furminator but I like that one you have that gets the hair off! That would make life easier when grooming Kodi.

  • @badgergirl90 Mine's poofies were getting pretty bad! They really needed to be Furminated!

  • sweet another one?? :DDD

Sent From GoneToTheSnowDogs's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • @TheBluefirewolf A New one!

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooo.

    :o

They don't want to get Furminated!!!!!!!!!

  • @dgmoocher hehehehe

  • The furminator is priceless!! I don't know what i'd do without ours!! I might have to upgrade to that one with the nifty feature of pushing the hair off the comb. Nice. Yeah, you don't want to use that for long periods either because it can hurt them. LOL at the hind quarters and so much fur...it looks like it snowed in the spot you use that in.

  • @susanloveshuskies Love mine!!!

  • Do they furminator for long- haired cats?

  • @lenasibreancatdog They sure do! The first link in my description has them

  • My yard looks just like yours. I also know when it is time to stop when my neighbor complains about fur hanging from his beautiful rose bushes. I just say the birds dropped the fur in the bushes

  • @Leftyloveshuskies heheheh

  • Wow and I thought Ed had lots of hair! We might need to get something like that.

  • @HeyThatsMike I couldn't live with out my furminator!

  • My boy has slightly thick furr but is it just for coats like the girls?

  • @JennyTheSpazz No, it works on just about any coats

  • I better make sure to get one of those if I get another dog.

  • @SulliMike241 hehehe

  • i was just wondering, do you know why they blow their coats in the winter? I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question but i understand why in the summer but I just figured if the coat is coming in thicker for winter why is the need for a siberian husky to blow their coat in the winter?

  • @HALEOKEAWE They blow their coats twice a year, once to get ready for winter, and once to get ready for summer. Their under coat that grows back in does keep them cool in the summer.

  • Petco sells them too at least the one in my town so I am sure they have them on their website. The girls seem to enjoy it...they looked relaxed Shelby even laid down lol

  • @Cheryl1757 They sure do!

  • I actually think there is the potential of making some decent money from selling the fur

  • @gunut4 Yeah

  • I just brushed out the poofies from my golden's haunches. She usually has more poofies there for some reason.

  • @chocolateandbooks Mine do too!

  • awwww poofies

  • @marble455 Love Poofies!

  • Ooh I wish I would help you to FURminate the girlies!!! Cuz my dog always runs away from me!! =(

  • @BlueButterflyv22 Introduce them to it slowly. And always reward the dog when they let you brush them

  • Jessica: Check that out! What do you think of that?

    Shelby: Omnomnomnom

Jessica You can't eat it. It's not for eating.

    Shelby: Arrrrwww

  • @AvengerDK heheheh

  • Ha.....I am no stranger to the FURminator. Lovely!

  • @thedickiesman We love ours!
