  • Thanks for posting.. II never heard this before.. OH! Billy Davis, I am so Jealous of you!

  • Was there another woman who had such a combination of looks and talent as Marilyn McCoo?

  • very nice...

  • One of Jimmy Webb's most beautiful and underrated ballads--and a gorgeous vocal by Marilyn. Not to mention that amazing guitar work by Larry Coryell.

  • i think this is a track from the "earthbound" album. there's another track in the same album titled "salty tears". could anyone upload this for me please?

  • Salty Tears is on the Soul & Inspiration album & it was sung by Florence ..

  • thanks butch...how can I get a copy of the song?

  • You can buy the Soul & Inspiration cd on Marilyn and Billy's website

  • ah okay..thanks

  • I am so happy to find all those beautiful songs on youtube ! I have been a fan of the 5th Dimension since 1967 and tried to get as many of their records as I could - but this has completely passed me by - well in Europe you could not get so much at the time. Thanks a lot for posting !!

  • Itching to know your thoughts about this one.

  • I thought Marilyn did a Great job on it .. She sang it a little differently then some of her other ballads again showing her versatility & control .. She has a 4 octave range that she has amazing control over & she always interprets a song so U can feel her pain or whatever emotion she is trying to impart .. As U can tell I love her voice & think she is one of the mo0st under appreciated vocalists of our time ...

  • ICAM...My class of 5th graders & I have been "studying" this group & reading Billy& Marilyn's book in our literacy class .I showed them the Travelling Sunshine Show & we discussed the actions and vocals of the group "individually and colllectively" :^)...one thing the kids said was that Marilyn's expressions and the way her voice goes when she sings helps you feel what the song is saying.

I finally got my copy of The Two of Us..."The Times" and "Nightsong"...nuff said.
