This is a caricature of religious morality. E.g, Aquinas says there is only 1 immutable moral law: Do good & avoid evil. What is good good & evil depends, according to Aquinas, on circumstances. Dawkins makes 2 more errors: (1) Implying Christians believe the Old Testament lays down moral absolutes, when they actually see it as a history of moral education. (2) Assuming secular values rose independently of religion, when history shows they are mostly secularized religious values. Peace, Dennis
In fact he's agreeing with him by recognizing that in atheism there can't be any absolute moral code, any attempt would be a subjective one. Any moral code created by humans would be purely subjective and thus not absolute. I also find funny how he makes some little references to key moments in the Old Testament, as though those were Jesus' commands for everybody(stone people, etc). It's obvious those aren't christian moral values and he needs to understand the Bible context of the Old Testament
I wouldn't recommend uploading videos of somebody who's been ridiculed and cataloged as "coward" by fellow atheists because he refused to debate christian philosopher William Lane Craig this summer. Also Craig destroys all his arguments in "The God Delusion"(see videos here on youtube) and John Lennox humiliates him in a public debate, from wich Dawkins recognized to come out "very embarrased with his perfomance". In this video, Dawkins doesn't answer the question from that guy at all.
