  • Make sure you dont blow the welds on the intake manifold...

  • how much would be a safe shot ford a 94 mustang 5 speed? it has roller rockers 1.6 E303 Cam Gt40 intake, and BBK 70mm throttle body. stock block.

  • Get a full nitrous kit. Bottle heater, pressure gauge, etc.

    you can do it the expensive way, and get a dry kit with bigger injectors. Or you can shoot a wet kit, that sprays nitrous and fuel from a nozzel.

    start with a 75shot, and work your was up. for a 1994 stang with hypo pistons, a 125shot should be fine. 150shot too, just be a little more careful, colder plugs, drop the timing a little more then the other shots, maybe a little race gas on hot days. ETC

  • @Xarmy187 for every 50 hp of nos you need to retard the timing 6 degreees right?

  • @sedvillemo 2 degrees, but its just a general rule. I've changed my thinking on a lot. I now like to use bigger shots of nitrous with much lower timing. such as a 150 shot with 8* to 10* pulled, it keeps the motor cooler and much safer.

    this year I will use a 200 shot and pull about 10* and if it dosen't get me in the 10's, then I will ad a little timing back.

  • How much was the kit? I plan on getting a kit and putting it on myself i got a 331 stroker 94 body 5 speed, pretty quick but I'd love to go faster,

  • I payed about $500 for it used. but ended up having some bad parts, so i had to buy new noids and such.

    I recommend buying a NEW nitrous express kit. there around $1,000 if you get all the goodies.

  • I do belive it had a shift kit as the shifts where VERY firm and aggressive.

    but it also shifted out of 3rd and into over drive even with the shifter in drive almost 50% of the time.

  • It cost me just over $2,000 with almost all new parts, and a Cobra T5 from Promotion Powertrain.

    but it is day and night. the difference in power feel's like there is a 50shot of nitrous going through the car non-stop compared to when the AOD was in it.

    deffently worth it.

  • I dont think it'll be to much in parts....its just a matter of whether or not you wanna go through the bullshit install haha its gunna take some time its probably not a weekend job if you're gunna do it yourself.....

  • I installed it myself. So it was $2,000 total.

    actually i think it was about $2,400.

  • @DWELLER001 buy a junk wrecked 89 and swap it from there save money and convert your car to Mass airflow remember computers are diff for t5 vs AOD

  • Nice, I like the n20 pull video man... Not bad for an auto. Swap that thing to a C4 and all your troubles are history.

    My pulls were on a DynoJet. 246/300 are old numbers now. I'm now running AFR's and a Lunati Cam on ported Cobra intake. I'll shoot you some new numberswhen I get back to the dyno. Should be 300rwhp all motor, and +/- 500 at the wheels on spray.

    your numbers where a bit high from what ive seen, might have a "factory freak"

    you said your going to have 300rwhp and spray to 500? 500rwhp from 300 would take about a 250shot of nitrous... thats WAY to much.

    im running a 150shot as a MAX, ive heard of ppl spraying 200 and being alright. its all on how you treat it.

    whatever you do, id like to see where it gos!

  • blew a intake gasket.

    so imma go ahead and break her down, replace head gaskets, get the heads milled, new fuel pump, new cold air intake, maybe even port the head's if i can find someone to do it for $300 or so.

  • lol, id recomend the ford racing extreme service gasket set. (its really mad eby felpro)

    ill look at the prices, ive planed on fel-pro so far.

    tryed to order a gasket for my intake, but there out, need to call fel-pro directly and see if they make one for my intake

    (pro products typoon upper and lower)

  • yea ive never really had that problem, my current setup just has a cobra upper+lower, my old one had a jegs box (turbo motor).

  • NX wet kit. got a bottle warmer, purge and nitrous gauge for $400! (used) im using my purge silinoid for the spray right now, as the nitrous silinoid was bad, and im waiting for some time off to put the new nitrous silinoid in, and hook the purge up :)

    how's your car doing now? ever figure out what happend?
