  • im fans in indonesia,,,

  • 0:34-0:49 what song?

  • @own4ger Dead Seeds

  • WOW! great quality! i must get one :D

  • Look at Chris Adler go!!!

  • This is what a concert sounds like when you have your Miracle ears in while playing the drums

  • sure reacts good to the higher notes on the drums.

the bass and toms are kinda muffled though.

wouldn't mind getting one of these 4 Christmas :)

  • WHY DIDNT THEY RECORED CHRIS'S BREAKDOWN IN RUIN!!! D.:

  • Drums sound quite as sweet as on the 2005 Modern Drummer Festival performance of Chris, recorded with professional tele-cams !

  • Oh cool, a video recorder to records drums only!! LOL. Just kidding. I am getting one!

  • BRUTAL!!!!

  • Im thinking of buying this but it seems like the camera has a hard time picking up the bass over the treble, is it always this bad or can it be changed?

  • RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWR!

LAMB OF GOD ! JUST A HUGE WOWWWW!!

  • this device has great sound but poor video

  • not impressed at all the new iphone smokes this toy

  • i like this product but i dont wanna upload straight to youtube i wanna edit it first,...something tells me most users are using a MAC computer, how do I convert the formate. or do i have to upload to youtube then get download it from there with realplayer sp? and convert it from there.?

  • great audio and video quality! I've been wanting a q3 for some time now

  • tape the Zomm Q3 to a marshall satck cranked to 11 and see how it works.

  • PLEASE HELP. I just bought a Q3. Could someone private message me the best audio setting(s) highly recommended for band practice sessions and live gigs. Harder bands, metal, hard hitting drums, etc. I'm trying to record on the audio/video setting. What would be best for mic gain L/H/Auto, low-cut on/off. Does placement in the room matter. I've seen videos of the Q3 next to drums and the audio doesn't pop, peak, etc. Basically, what are the overall best settings combined. Thanks in advance.

  • Ok so if I understand, it compresses the sound to hell to hear the drums almost perfectly and throw the guitars, bass and vocals away?

  • @Drope934 I think it's because it's so close to the kit and comparatively far away from the guitars and vocals. It's the whole stereo audio thing that does it.

When it's filmed from the audience - the balance is fine.

  • where can i find me one and for how much.....for the Q3

  • what editing program was used to make these videos?

  • Nice! No more CLIPPING! Still, I think due to this trade-up the Q3 has lost its function in picking up BASS frequencies and recording them clearly.

  • alder is underated morton overrated

  • @Guitar1sti Morton over-rated? How about Adler and Morton both under-rated?

  • i want that now

  • so great quality :O

  • well it passed the LOG test, gonna get me 1 now XD

  • BEARDS REQUIRED (to be in this band).

The exact same sound has been done for 20 years by other bands.

Congratulations on keeping kids moshing to more of the same.

Originality not required. Intelligible lyrics not required.

    Sore throat after show unavoidable.*

*Douse with hard alcohol and sleep on your pile of money.

A high gain cut would have been a nice edition to this "stereo" camera.

    Sounds like "s-s h-h i-i t-t" (IN STERO!)

  • awesome video

  • cool reality feel in the stereoimage! drums to the left, amps and PA more in the center, ambience and crowd to the right. listen to this in headphones!

  • Nice quality!

    I´ll buy my own!

  • I bought one at Best Buy to make video's of the amps I build to post here on Youtube, but even with a decent light the video was way to grainy. It's a killer mic that just happens to have a very cheap camera attached to it.

The built in webcam on my Mac takes better video.

  • would anyone reccomend this for someone in a band?

  • @TheSchoolsux345

    Yes. It's an amazing camera.

  • The Q3 actually works well with all the stage lighting on this stage. I'm almost not sure this video is from the Q3.

Does not do so well with my band in dank skanky dive bars with no lighting.

Actually, it's strong point is more the audio than the video. Again,,,you are getting way too much detail of the audience on far away shots, for this to be a zoom Q3

  • Mark Morton just FUCKS SHIT UP!! BEAST!!

  • mark morton is so fuckin savage with that guitar

  • @workmotherfucker no kiddin, he actually does lol

  • It would be better to hear some vids from UpFront... You know when you can really hear if is gonna clip that mic!!! I want this device like... NOW!!

  • @JEAG i just ordered one....hope its as kickass as I think it is....^_^

  • @AXELAGONY Seems like it does... But i really don't know... Tell me about it when you go to a gig and CLIP IT!

  • @JEAG I just recorded with my electric and acoustic guitar...with nice distortion too....awesome sound.....check the video on my channel....

  • Q3 is AWESOME!!!!

  • I love this! It's small enough to carry around, and from what I see, it does good in low light settings. I'm getting one for Xmas. That's for damn sure.

  • ... that's not low lighting. Its well lit.

And "no" the Q3 is not good at low light, it needs lots of light, which is ok, you control the scene.

  • Preetyy sweet. Too bad that audio isn't that great. But still damn good for one mic built in that camera. Cool stuff.

  • @insaynewrapper have you ever been back stage at a show? thats how it sounds back there....

  • Really sad for us musicians... It's like a fucking machine room behind those PA Systems... The music we're playing but we couldn't hear... I wan't a nice BOSE system dude... LOL

  • The audio isn't great because it is recorded from the stage itself. It depends on how much soundwaves the mic recieves. When standing onstage, the nearest instrument might get the biggest attention from the Q3. When standing in the audience, all the instruments mics are tuned so that the audience hears everything as good as possible with their two ears.

So for better sound, go stand in front of the scene, it will make a HUGE difference.
