Btw the gamplay in this vid happened instanced. There are many many szenarios. Each has it's own mechanic. Only this is old style Arathi like. You can start szenario gaming at lvl 1 and it's 100% fun!

+ The game is all about RvR teamwork. 10x times more fun than Wow PvP. And I played Wow for 4 years pvp only at the end. I know what I am talking about.

well... Paul Barnett said in a interview that they werent gonna have flag capturing. But in this vid, i think the flag on the ground is representing a location you can capture (like Battlefield style im guessing) not actually getting the flag and bringing it back to a base. Yet again i cant confirm this because I havent actually played in the beta.

I think WAR will be a definite success. One problem. GW, LoTRO months before release date '' omg omg lord of the rings and guildwars online gona beat wooow!!'' what happened?? They screwed up..WoW players have tried them 2 games and now say to themselves '' oh my god, screw mmorpg's im staying with WoW' but with WAR it's a totally diferent situation. It will be better than WoW let alone Lotro, GW.. WoW will be left with loyal fan boys and WoW sad ass addicts forever.

LotRO, Vanguard, EQ2, Guildwars, and pretty much every game released in the MMORPG genre since Nov. 24rd/04 has paled in comparison to WoW, and guess what? Everyone said the same thing about those games too (with the exception of EQ2, WoW just killed it).

In popularity, WoW will be dominating for quite some time. But youre not looking at the game quality. Any retard can tell that WoW is better cause they have more members, but any sane person would admit that guildwars is a BETTER game. I used to be a WoW player, but WAR is gonna be way better, as are LOTRO, Guildwars and many others. WoW = shit pvp and very unbalanced. Its all about gear gear gear, no fun.

the characters on this dont have any armor etc.. u can buy armor and get loads of stuff like wow rite?

they do have armor... the reason y the characters in the video look the same is because these are premade characters that are used to test the RvR, but in the official game, everyones gonna look different becuz there are many armor types and u can customize them with dyes and trophies.. and yes, u can buy armor and get loads of stuff like in WoW :P

I'm a WoW fanboy, and I'm gona play this game, WAR give variety, in WoW no. For example: if you are a Warrior and wana do pvp, you must be ONE specific spec, the others two spec sux at pvp.

Thats why WAR will beat WOW in PVP.

yep, its just like any other mmog, like world of warcraft and such, u can party with other people, level up, buy armor and weapons etc... but the game is focusing on the player versus player aspect (called RvR in this game)

Its still called pvp ;) but RvR is the realm vs realm part =P Cause not all pvp in WAR is RvR right? I mean you could get some world pvp fights? as randomly running into enemies

yep, from a WAR podcast i saw way back, the starter zones are protected from pvp. And then as u get to medium zones, there are locations in the map that are PVP areas where u can kill any member of the opposing faction you run into. And then its all up for grabs in the high level zones.

there are pvp starter zones. you dont have to do a single pve quest ever in WAR, you can lvl from pvp if you want to.

Which is great, cause getting 2shotted in WoW sucks. And in WoW you know which class beats which guy. Frost mage beats warr. Rogue beats lock etc. Its too unbalanced and..shit.
