I like it. It'll be something different and people would just freak out when they see it. No one else in your block will have one. I'm sure the final product will look even better. Great work, Wonder if black and gold is the only color combo. Nonetheless that's the best combo on the 2nd gen (Bandit colors).

I don't mean to be an asshole but to me this isn't a trans am. I like what you are trying to accomplish, I just can't justify buying a camaro and turning it into a trans am. This is for several reasons. From the factory Trans Ams (Gen 1-2) handled much better than camaros and had much better engines. For this car to truly live up to its name it would need to loose 500 pounds, get an even more improved suspension, and be powered by a traditional Pontiac V8.

I agree with PontiacAlfaHSV. It isn't back anymore than if I put Shelby decals on any old Mustang- it would still be the same old Mustang. This literally is a Camaro in a T/A costume. I can see saying, "make your new Camaro LOOK like a future T/A",but to say it's back? It's just not so. I wonder why it isn't a retro 1st gen design anyway? The Camaro is totally a revision of the 67-69 models and Kevin here put a 2nd gen facia and stickers on it. It would be cooler to see a 1st gen Firebird kit.
