Actually, it doesnt have to do with the company that have HUD, Boeing already installed them before ship to the company that purchased 737s. It already have HUD in it. So, SWA do have HUD in some 737s. Remember SWA has alot of older model that doesnt have HUD in it. SWA already getting new NG 737s plus will get new 737-800s soon.

@KustomCompBuilder Southwest has had HUD'S since 1994 and the purchase of Morris Air(who already had them). They're actually called HGS'S ( Heads Up Guidance System).

Southwest doesn't have GPWS. The pilots call out the altitudes manually, which you can hear if you listen carefully...

@SWA8080 Southwest has EGPWS, which is enhanced GPWS. If your GPWS talks to you on landing, you're doing something wrong( ie. forgot the gear or flaps).
