Interesting since Rod Serling later re-told this tale with different circumstances (Burgess Meredith played a homeless doctor, whereas the angry wife was replaced by the doctor's greedy associate). Don't want to spoil the ending, but let's just say, in the end, the wife's fate was better than the associate's.
