  • Is it just me or does barbara drag down the show when she is on.

  • I agree with Whoopi also, it's sad to see what happens to kids who are on tv for any longer length of time. Look at Jon&Kate's kids...sure, they say they don't mind the cameras and Kate swears they like it...but do those kids know anything different? And does that mean that b/c a kid likes running into the street that it won't potentially harm them? No..that's why kids have parents, to protect them b/c the parent's know better.

  • I can't believe people fell for this hoax. Hilarious! It's like that old Simpsons episode where Bart creates the whole Timmy O'Toole being trapped in the well hoax. As always, the Simpsons is ahead of it's time.

  • Kids look for approval and are very attuned to signals from adults. Their very innocence and trust make them vulnerable. And i've watched some of the wife swap videos of this family...pretty soon they will be carbon copies of dad. scary

  • finally elizabeth says something i like.

  • I think Barbara needs to relize that some of these kids enjoy being on tv...But I also agree with Woopie they should'nt be forced to participate..

  • So what if kids enjoy it? It screws them up. There's a reason why the majority of child stars grow up to have serious problems.

  • thats a completely biased opinion there are plenty of child stars who grow up to be decent people. in the same way there are plenty that do not and develop unhealthy habits like you say but so do many other people who arent stars. stardom isnt a key for becoming harmful to yourself put it that way
