was he already dead in this scene? So it's all part of Cox's imagination? Elliot looks around and sees nothing. And it makes the funny scene at the end when Ben mimicks his footsteps a little twisted, because they're both the same person. So hilarious and so sad. So Scrubs.

@viridismonasteriense Yes, Ben's already dead. He died while Cox was off bailing someone out of jail and left JD to do tests on Ben. I think it was set up so that we would confused about who actually died while Cox was away. I originally thought that the old guy in the wheelchair had died, until the end when Cox asked Ben why he wasn't taking pictures, and remembered what Ben has said he would take picture until he was dead. Very sad episode.
