Was telling my friend the other day - am glad that this advert was made coz subconsciously it teaches Malaysians not just to be sad or be melancholy but to pick themselves up and work on their problems; find a solution, innovate - don't just be sad but get up and work on a solution so that they can bring themselves to a better situation; be successful and become a better person. :)

I think the younger generations are more racist than my generation who grew up in the 1970s where the Islamisation of our school system wasn't so prevalent. I remember the Malay, Chinese and Indian girls in my class all wear the same blue pinafore so there is not physical differences between races. We all also eat at the same canteen. Somehow today our school national school has become so Islamic and racist. If our school system remain secular all races can live in harmony/

This is a good ad and promotes harmony among the major races esp important when young malaysians can see past color or religion.

Hopefully one day a Government in Malaysia will not practice discriminating any one based on race -Petronas can lead by opening its door to employ more non malays as with so many GLCs they only employ ONE race-i.e 99.8 % are Muslim Malays .

Why such a policy to divide the races .....its so destructive !

Great work from the team who put this advert together. I look at all involved and I see a truly 'muhibbah' Malaysian team, actors & actresses included. :)

It's sad some comments here already showcase the narrowmindedness of typical racist folks who play the religion card to herald themselves of champions of the faith. This advert has nothing to do wt religion.. it's to remind us of how we should value each other.

I guess it's a case of not progresing over time but actually regressing to 'zaman darurat' mentality. To be frank, I have tons of lovely friends from all racial divides. Many of my closest friends are 'melayu' and I know they will stick their necks out for me in times of need for a 'pendatang' such as me. :)

Let's celebrate our nationality, humanity and friendship and not segregate others to the 'unclean' zone. Selamat Hari Merdeka UNAHUSNA!! :D

@deenasour Itu pandangan sayalah. Saya pernah berkerja menghasilkan iklan2 TV dan ada juga kritik. Menghasilkan iklan kenalah alert hal2 yang remeh. Saya tengok kebanyakan syarikat iklan sekarang semua tidak diteliti dalam hal2 sensitifiti agama, terutama Islam. Iklan yg ada mesej dan berbilang kaum memang penting tapi yang penting ialah pengaruh pemikiran penonton tue sepatutnya paling sangat diutamakan.
