  • She is trying to find a standart for the cards. We may it, when she collects some cards that have the same colour. Then, suddenly, she realizes she is not doing it right, so she starts it again.

  • She is adorable and she has a talent that will be discovered by age 5. Don't worry, she is only exploring and practicing her motor skills. She will be a very smart girl.

  • thank you for your kind words . she is a very active 4 year old who doesnt do this anymore .... she is a happy healthy pre schooler who has a messy room:)

  • So what...your busy watching the t.v and your kid was bored, so she needed to entertain herself somehow..and for the love of god why does she have a nuk in her mouth yet

  • What a lovely child.

I couldn't help but notice she has a large forehead. This girl is a genius in the making.

  • every 5 seconds to see if somone is there.

  • I was on the bus home from school and my friend got out a magazine and showed me all the weird problems like people have and i turned the page and it said about OCD and i didnt get time to read it so i researched it. I'm not sure if i have it or not... Would you say this is OCD? If you say 'Saftey Rules Apply' like every time there is a noise when im home alone, i feel like i have to say it otherwise i will die or something. i never told anyone. and right now i noticed im looking to to right ...

  • This could be OCD or some other Anxiety Dissorder .

  • she was just arranging becasue she had seen my mom who does have ocd doing it...she is perfectly messy and unorganized 3 year old now

  • Sorry its just that I have OCD and one of the symptoms is arranging things.

  • oh no problem my mom has ocd also and thats one of the reasons she was doing this is because she had seen my mom do it soo many times with many different things:) sometimes i wish she was still this neat and organized:)

  • Haha yeah:)

  • she is really cute. She is just being who she is.

  • yes she is:) she doesnt do any of this now

  • I think she has OCD

  • aww she's so cute:)

  • The way she handle those cards looked like autism. But she answered you questions at the end rather fast and clearly. That dont seem autistic to me she at best to me would sound like a 2 year old trying to talk my son has high fuctioning autism. He did things like that but it mostly dealt with colors of he was doing. Give her some colored blocks many if she sets the up too good might be autism. Forget these people on here take her to a therapist. Her reg Ped might not b much help like my son's

  • I think she is just a "little bit" more intelligent than you, thats all! What's wrong with YOU?? Be happy to have a child like her! It would be better if you leave her allone when she is playing like this, quiet and concentrated, don't disturb her!!! Don't talk to her permanently! This kind of playing is SO important for kids, WHITHOUT the entertainment of adults!!!

  • You should be happy; you have a quiet, still, well behaved child. I wish all toddlers could sit down somewhere, be quite and entertain themselves.

And hey, shes voluntarily doing something educational. Much better than being raised by the boob tube.

  • I think she has autism.

  • she could have OCD. does it run in your family?

  • ocd does run in our family but she has since turned out to be a messy llittle three year old and she was just imitating my mom who she saw counting and organizing quite frequently~

  • what this kid is doing isn't a sign of OCD.

  • There is nothing "wrong" with that girl. She can speak and all.

  • she reminds me of me when i was her age.. i was also very clean back then.. but by the time i was 5, i was as messy as any kid... but, i'm an aspie.

  • shes a happy healthy messy 3 and a half year old now it was just a stage she was going through my mother has ocd so we figured out it was because she would see her organizing everything and she was just trying to copy her grandma:)

  • aww shes so cute,if i was you i would not worry to much.

  • If it isn't just playing, then I would say possibly signs of OCD, but the complete lack of response to or interaction with you is suggestive of autism.

  • There isnt a complete lack of response or interaction at all! she responds appropriately when her mother speaks?!

  • I haven't time to watch it again now, but when I watched it (maybe I didn't watch it all? I can't remember...), I remember the mother asking things and the child did not respond.

  • my daughter around her age, acts the same way. she playes with cards and likes to stack them.. carrying them around the house. But the father and grandmother both have OCD systems, it runs in the family, and I notice it in my daughter too. but yes, when i saw this video, my daughter does the same thing!

  • She is obviously verbal.. Does she have delays in other development benchmarks? Is she spontaneously speaking in phrases, pointing and things or calling you to show you stuff? When she wants something does she take you by the hand and pull you to it instead of telling you or pointing? If you've answered yes to any of these, you need to get help right away. The earlier the better.

Looking at the video, she could be on the spectrum. Get her to a developmental pediatrician right away.

  • I would keep watch of her behaviors but not try to influence as if you believe she had OCD. Seems as though she sets them down to pick them up and learn the name and picture as a result of realizing to learn them she needs to default their position.

  • she was just organizing. my mom has ocd and she was living with us at the time so she was just imitating what she had seen my mom do .. thank you for your input but she has turned into a wonderful little messy pre schooler:)

  • I wouldnt exactly say that this child shows signs of OCD or anything to worry about. She shows a dedication to organize and quick learning. Thats a positive trait, however if she were doing something such as simply picking the cards up and setting them back down only to pick them up again and again, without any kind of evaluation of recognizing her past learning experiance, I would have to reconsider.

  • damn i think shes smarter than me!

  • Is there OCD in the family?

  • yes my mother has ocd and she was only imitating what she had seen her do many times:) she does not have any signs of ocd now definalty as her room gets cleaned by me:) just like any preschooler:)

  • So sweet! Such a smart and beautiful little girl! I see nothing wrong with her!

  • It's called "Perseveration". It's an autistic trait and you need to have her tested as she may have mild autism. OCD, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc. are all under the autism spectrum umbrella.

  • It looks to me like she is teaching herself to read :) She's likely to keep you on your toes for many years to come ;)

(My kiddo learned to read before she turned two and *hid* it from me!)

It's my experience that smart kids might be more prone to odd behaviors simply because their lil brains need something to do!

Maybe look into a Montessori school. it's a self-paced system of education that can be good for kids who might feel bored in a typical preschool environment.

  • Autism?

  • very focused for a child of this age.

  • i don't think anything is wrong with her......she possibly could have just been bored or thought it would be fun to arrange things. She may be showing early signs of being a perfectionist, which can be a very good thing because they are independent and are usually very well organized. The down side of this may be that they sometimes are unable to rely on other people and most often insist on having things their way or their eyes perfect Note: this is not a disease just a personallity

  • Nothing as far as I can tell, in fact I would be hopeful she is highly intelligent and gifted, sorting and categorising is a natural part of toddler development, but she is exhibiting a fantasically long attention span for her age while still being capable of acknowledging what's going on around her, doubt it is anything significantly autistic spectrum or OCD if that's what you're worried about, but you're better speaking to a pro rather than posting vids asking questions of this girl on Youtube

  • i never realized before about 7 months ago that youtube was as large as it is... i made these videos basically for my mom and family back home since we are military and always moving from one place to the other. I never thought that anyhting was wrong with her it was just very curious to me that she did this . she is 3 now and a wonderfully vibrant young lady at that!

  • I agree, I wish you the best of luck!

  • um.... there's nothing wrong with her..

she likes cards! and names the different things.

    lighten up.

  • .......ocd

  • u shud honestly watch this stonedit totally fries ur head!!! lol such a kool vid!

  • she was probally bored.lol

  • Never saw this one, somehow missed it. So cute! At least she didn't get mad at the cards. Arianna would have gotten pissed everytime she had to start over b/c she found more cards. Can't believe people were saying autism...look at her now! Genius Baby!

  • She'sa baby kids do that sort of thing!I stay on the computer forhours on end does tha mean im autistic nope just means i love to go on the computer Hey maybe she will grow up to be an organizer

  • What happened to a kid just going through a phase, or having a temporary new interest, or possibly just having their own particular personality? Also, this little girl responds and discusses the picture on the cards when spoken to rather than obsessively stacking to the exclusion of her surroundings. Nice healthy kid.

  • thank you!! she doesnt relaly do this that much anymore she did just go through a phase.... shes got the greatest imagination sand i like to think while she was looking at those cards she was making up a story to go along with them in her head..

  • Hi i just watched this and i disgree Autism but then again i have watched the other videos and your daughter is very responsive in the other video and playing with her toys, she has ocd, Now my son has autism he wouldn't do this he would just place them all in a line, shes adorable by the way !

  • thank you my name is angie too kinda cool:)

  • :) hey very cool i would say :)

Hope you will pop by my videos too !

  • autism!!

  • she doesnt do this anymore

  • AUTISM!

  • she doesnt do this anymore though. she only did it when she was little i even see some of her organizing tendancies going away too!

  • wow! 35 mins! I can make a video and post it on youtube in that amount of time! o_o

  • It's hard to say if there is anything wrong with her just from this clip. Kid's get sucked into their own worlds quite often, is she like this with everything? Does she get agitated when things are out of place? It doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me.

  • no she doesnt do it as much now and the doctors that i took her too said that this was perfectly normal for alot of kids her age so basically she was just entertaining me while she was doing this

  • Scratch that... she did respond.... I'm not sure.

  • She's maby Autistic. Dose she respond any when you call her name?
