@DarmanFett Another thing I noticed that the Official SWGEmu servers are the only ones you can find on YouTube so I'm guessing they are the only playable pre cu servers

@DarmanFett Oh so liberator is the fun one we all play, nova and that other one are test servers. All I know is, once they come out with "sucrusher?" I'm gonna stick with it because it's the original.

@DarmanFett So I don't understand completly, Liberator is what we are playing until they put up a new test server right ? And These guys will be the only ones that have the code ?

@Magickennyd Nope, they have two testing servers up atm, and Liberator is there to make people happy who don't want to test. And there going to release the code when suncrusher comes out (which could be in a decade lol)

@DarmanFett Yes but I've looked at both of there things on private server websites and there are 0 people going in and like 300 leaving a month. Those are private servers, they will never be as good as the original.

@Magickennyd That's because they don't exist. Even if you could get the server code that's released by the EMU, because they do release the code. It will only stay on for a hour and then shutdown. Why did they do this? so other people couldn't run there server before its done. And you cant take the code out that shuts it down because its in hard coded in there, take it out and it will do stuff they will make you very unhappy lol

@DarmanFett Plus IMO once the game is finally done, the galaxies reborn and all the other ones will either be shut down or have very low popularity.

@Magickennyd I don't think so. You see those two community's have been saving up money from donations from the very beginning.

@Magickennyd I could run my own server if I wanted to giving out. Look up galaxies reborn or true galaxies. There huge community's just waiting for EMU to be done. Then there going to host it them selves for there community

@DarmanFett Well honestly, im gonna stick with the orignol because they made the codes. As for galaxies reborn or true galaxies, have you tried them ? Are they good ?

@Magickennyd Far as I know they don't have a server, because the EMU isn't done. But like you said I'll be sticking with the original also

@DarmanFett Well the liberator server that is. Haha. If we are waiting like 8 years for this game to be made, it will be the greatest mom out there and I guerentee the playerbase will skyrocket.

@Magickennyd The thing is once its done there giving it out. Which means there going to be multiple community's working on it at. So it will end up being a bit fragmented but I see it as more people working to improve it :D

@DarmanFett I was the same way, it was so upsetting. I was thinking about that as I was reading it and just smiled. To imagine that they will be able to recreate it exactly and possibly make it better, graphics and gameplay wise, I cant wait and I will never leave that game. Lmao

@DarmanFett Actually I have had the game since it came out and my only memory from the game was when I was like 10, now being 16, and never had the chance to play because no Internet, that's why I'm asking these questions because I've been waiting 6 years to play this game and I want it to be everything I imagined.

@Magickennyd I'm in the same boat, me and my dad bought the game thinking it was a stand alone not a MMO when he found out we brought it back to Walmart. You have no idea home many times I've thought "if only dad would have play with me for a month we could of had so many years of fun" So I understand how you feel. But its not going to live up to expectations. Why? because its not done, Liberator doubly so. but as long as you understand it will be done in the years to come, you WILL have fun

@Magickennyd just like any other MMO, kill things to get new skills to get more weapons to kill harder things and so on. And PvP if your into that sort of thing, and possibly getting jedi or maybe hunting jedi..your choice again. I would say if you haven't played it try it and see if you like it. I you need the disks...do a search on tpb :D

Last question, would you say that the liberator server has a similar feel to SWG, as in roleplaying wise. On the liberator server is there a direction your pushed in because it's been very hard for me to understand so far.

@Magickennyd It's your choice if you want to RP or not. There's people that do it hard core and never "break character" and then there's lighter RP'ers that do it sometimes but not all the time. Then you have people who just play because its fun and don't really roleplay at all. So ultimately its your choice and don't let anyone decide for you, do what is going to make play SWGEmu fun for YOU

In your opinion is the liberator, graphics wise, the same as Swg pre cu

@Magickennyd I never had the chance of playing SOE's pre cu. This is the only star wars galaxies I'm played. But people who have played say there the same. And that nova and STM have better graphics

@DarmanFett So what is there to do on the Liberator server ? Can you still do quests or missions ? Can you level up skills ? Can you craft stuff ?

@Magickennyd yes to all of the above except for quests, missions are there but those are just "go blow up this lair" sort of thing

What's is the difference between Liberator and that other server ?

@Magickennyd Liberator is the "fun" server. Which means its old dead code, not being developed anymore. Nova is the code that's being developed at this moment, and STM will be the next step after nova. This means that Liberator will be deleted when the time comes, but because nova gets deleted about every week or more, players wanted some were to keep a persistent characters that were not going to be deleted so often

@DarmanFett yea its alot of mixed signals from diff gms, i dont remember if its lib or there makin a new temp play server before 1.0, hes a gm that works on coding not just one of the gm's that play the game all day so im hoping he knows more,lol, but none the less it seems like there getting alot more coding done recently so maybe we get everything soon
