i love this song , please do research on your favorite hymns and how they tore up the church at that time because the elders did not like how the people were converting popular drinking songs and giving them lyrics to glorify God. Now we love them and bring tears to our eyes. The enemy was worship leader in heaven and we need to take what he has stolen from our KING and make it right .Thank you for doing that Gateway. They were social centers where people sat around and sang the folk songs and popular tunes of the day. There were no music publishing companies, no radio, or any other ways to hear and learn new melodies. So they had to put their words to tunes they were familiar with.

All music was "Pop Culture" at one time. Even some of the really old hymns were orginally bar songs. There is no "Divine" music that God ordains.
