  • We had a miracle - my water broke early. I refused a vaginal birth. My son was born via c/s. My OB was shaken up - had I gone on longer in pregnany, or had a vag delivery, my son would not be here today. He had nearly a true knot.

  • My baby boy had this happen to him at 38 gestation. He was 7lbs 30z.He was breech as well.Died March 27, 2008. He will be 10 months the 27th. I can't believe how time flew by so fast. I miss him so much.

We need more info on this and awareness to the public and doctors etc.

    There should be more reasearch.

  • i didnt have a UCA as such. i had a condition called TRAPS (TWIN REVERESED ARTERIAL PERFUSION SEQUANCE) this is very rare and happens one in 35,000 pregnancies and i lost my daling julie on 05-01-07 at 30 weeks gestation and my darling Kyla is still with me today allthough severelly dissabled she s with me. maby if the Drs and Nurses that seen me knew a bit more about the condition there might not have been soooo much wrong with Kyla. they left me 22 weeks carrying an angel.

  • My healthy baby Boy died in 1981 due to a true knot in the cord. There is much work to be done to safely birth these babies. One can have a healthy baby born if the Medical team is trained to understand and react quickly. Thank you for posting this video. If this has happened to you I recommend you reading the Book "Silent Risk" online. It helped me a lot to understand what happened.

  • Is there somewhere to see the rest of this video? It is very informative. I lost my baby on 7-3-2008 at 30 1/2 weeks due to a cord accident and I am trying to learn all I can about it.
